The OP kind says some sort of mental disability to me. Hanging around in "shipyards and boat piers" is king of odd for a 19 year old. Maybe some sort of autism/mental age of a child thing is a factor. He may have been led off by some bad people. -

Disable floating toolbar?
Thanks, BritManToo, that actually did work. The darker screen is easier on my eyes, but the white screen is better than the floating banner. On my computer, it is at the top of the page and gives the option of clicking on a moon (dark background) or a light bulb (light background).
