Teenager Stabs Friend to Death at Birthday Party Near Pattaya

A 17-year-old teenager has been arrested for fatally stabbing his 19-year-old friend at a birthday party, reportedly over a long-standing personal feud.

 

Police from Banglamung Police Station, led by Deputy Superintendent Pol. Lt. Col. Kornpong Sookvisit, apprehended the suspect, identified as Inthakhwin, known as “Win”, following the attack on Pichat, known as “Jeab”, during a birthday gathering at a house in Banglamung District.

 

The incident took place at approximately 11:00 on 13 March, at a residence that also operates as a boat repair workshop. The victim was stabbed in the left side of his chest, with the wound piercing his heart. Despite being rushed to Banglamung Hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

 

Authorities found a 32-centimetre knife, believed to be the murder weapon, near a sofa at the crime scene. The suspect later confessed and participated in a police reconstruction of the events.

 

According to Win, tensions between him and Jeab had been building for some time. The two had known each other for nearly two years and had previously lived together. Win claimed that he had introduced Jeab to his circle of friends and had even partnered with him in a small business venture. However, he alleged that Jeab frequently belittled him, leading to resentment.

 

During the birthday celebration, their friends encouraged them to resolve their differences. However, Jeab reportedly insulted Win, saying, “People like you will never get far.” Enraged, Win left the gathering, retrieved a knife from the kitchen, and returned to stab Jeab before fleeing the scene.

 

After learning that the victim had been taken to hospital, Win returned to the house, called his mother, and decided to surrender to police.

 

The suspect is now in police custody at Banglamung Police Station, where he awaits legal proceedings.

I guess he showed him how wrong he was. Now this man will go far for a long time. In prison. He may even go further to HELL if they execute him for premeditated murder.

I don't think he'll get a murder sentence because his age 17.

too bad.. in america if a 17 year old commits premeditated murder. He can be tried as an adult. Perhaps in thailand they can wait for trial a year to make him legal to try as an adult also. haha... his crime was horrible and he is not fit to remain alive or allowed a chance for freedom to commit such a crime again.

As long as he gave himself up and admitted to the murder they will already knock off 1/2 of his sentence. And like the others said he’s under age so don’t know how much they could do. It’s a messed up system here. That’s for sure.
