Government Accountability Office a bipartisan independent agency couldn’t do it!

Inspector General’s audits  couldn’t do it.

Congress  didn’t  want to do it!

Past Presidents since JFK who Signed

a Executive Order to initiate it ,didn’t want to!

What was a good idea that was taken advantage of ,is history. It took a end around Executive Order calling for DOGE TO expose the malfeasance of the  bureaucracy to get

a touchdown for America.

“The state department formally shutters USAID after Trump’s court victory”.

From the NY Post article linked above:

Circuit Judge Roger Gregory, an appointee of former president Bill Clinton, concurred — even as he accused the Trump administration of having “unconstitutionally invaded the role of the Legislature, upsetting the separation of powers.”

“But those are not the questions before the Court today. The question before us is whether Defendants have satisfied their burden for a stay of the district court’s injunction pending their appeal to this Court,” he said.

It’s likely the move, coupled with the circuit court’s dismissal of the temporary restraining order against DOGE, will result in further legal challenges.

“Foreign assistance done right can advance our national interests, protect our borders, and strengthen our partnerships with key allies. Unfortunately, USAID strayed from its original mission long ago. As a result, the gains were too few and the costs were too high,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement”.

 Above From the OP source!

If I remember correctly , Rubio accepted 83% of DOGE RECOMMENDATIONS.

Remaining USAID staff fired, Trump says Myanmar will still get earthquake aid
SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 2025

'A TOTAL ABDICATION'

The decision to cut the remaining USAID jobs sparked concern among humanitarian aid experts, who said the firings and funding cuts would prevent a concerted U.S. response to the earthquake that hit Myanmar and Thailand.

In a post on X, Jeremy Konyndyk, a former USAID official who is president of Refugees International, called the move "a total abdication of decades of US leadership in the world."

He said the firings will cut "the last remnants of the team that would have mobilized a USAID disaster response" to the earthquake.

Trump on Friday said he had spoken with officials in Myanmar about the earthquake and that the US would provide assistance.
