Sooo.... according to thai tax law if you spend more than 180 days in Thailand you are a resident.

Not for foreigners. I have one for MRT where I get 50% discount, but BTS refuse to allow foreigners to have these cards.

I hardly ever use BTS nowadays, but use MRT regularly, so I am not reeally bothered by it.

 

I hate it though when my American friends (Thai heritage) come here on vacation and get all the Thai discounts and priveleges even though they can't speak Thai, but hey, my skin is white whereas theirs is darker.
