You want a Nuremberg-style tribunal for U.S. leaders??? Nuremberg wasn't about putting political opponents on trial. It was about prosecuting leaders who planned and carried out a war of aggression and systematic crimes like genocide and extermination. If you're going to say American presidents should be "hanged or shot," then who specifically? What crime did they commit? What evidence is there? Which international law did they violate? You can't just make a sweeping statement like that and expect people to accept it. And if we're going to hold every country to the same standard, are you calling for the same tribunals for Stalin's Soviet Union, Mao's China, Imperial Japan, the Ottoman Empire, the British Empire, Belgium in the Congo or the dictators responsible for millions of deaths in Africa and Asia? Or is this standard only applied to the United States? The U.S. has made mistakes and some deserve heavy criticism, but pretending America is uniquely evil while ignoring everyone else's history isn't an honest discussion. It's just selective outrage.
