We are not talking IRobot quality

It’s a PC with a camera connected to it.  The robot head is from Alibaba and the whole thing probably cost 25,000 baht.

It is also connected to the internet.

Thailand's AI Robocop

That's great  a new Cop on the beat, 🙏

Must be a Male Robocop  this must be something special they stated that ;

Quote,

The balls are capable of detecting disturbances or abnormalities around them, and the facial recognition software is able to easily detect criminals known to the police.

It can then either call other robots or human law enforcement as a backup, or will even solve the issue itself.

Um, friend, it's not a robot, but an AI software in a computer.

holy cow. this is big news.

it means thailand is embracing the AI/robotic revolution and will not lag behind other countries in utilizing these technologies, for better or for worse.

if they put these things everywhere, street crime will be a thing of the past.

also no more bouncers giving beatings in bars ... this is YUGE.

OMG you fell for the Thai BS

More nonsense and <deleted>, when they should be concerned about the basics of safety, especially road safety!!!

At least check the Ai's bank account just to make sure its a good robocop!

Amazing stuff this robot it takes down all the data then feeds it to the real idiots in brown uniforms so in short nothing will happen the robot probably be stolen and sold to some rich prick to carry his dishes.

No more Brown Envelop under the table?

Instead, direct debit to your account.

ED-209 would have been a better choice.
