"Can you read? Again, they already stated the facts. Doesn´t matter what it looks like to you," the "facts" as you call them, and what we see, in the photo, do not tell us what they actually doing, unless you were creeping around the area, and know more, there seems some hyperbole regarding this "obscene" act, also, from the photo, it's impossible to tell the girls nationality...Stop just taking the Thai side, unless you know.

Your funny. What you see is just a photo. The things reported in the news article is based on what people saw. Does that make it more clear to you?

I understand what you say, I also understand no-one actually reported what was being done, you made assumptions based on little information.

Is it just me or does it seem like Thailand is embracing victim culture? I just don't get it, so many netizens expressing outrage at something so simple and natural. So much sex for sale, the sex industry is so substantial, and yet a public act causes so much outrage?.

Is this sincere or is this just pure snowflake culture? Is it possible that the Internet is just allowing "keyboard warriors" to conduct a battle and express their outrage without ever having to show their faces?

Everyone needs to take some bromine or something ( same as the couple) and calm down. People wanting imprisonment, punishment, some of you would hang them if you could. There is NO evidence in the photo of a sexual or obscene act. Two people in love or lust kissing on the beach in a country where extreme conservatism frowns upon such things. And to be clear, i would not want to walk past such an amorous couple with my kids and would be going ‘tut tut’ , but some of you really need to get a life with the voracity of your comments, you have lost the plot as much as the couple.

No you don´t understand at all. No, I made an informed opinion based on what was given.

They reported enough, and that was that Thai people was not happy with what visitors were engaged in, and then I respect that. You have a long way to walk.

In Thailand we are discreet and conduct our affairs in private, sometimes on a daily basis. Such wanton public displays of lust and desire are shocking.

Lust and desire brings millions of people to Thailand every year and billions of Baht. The Lust and desire is easily satisfied sometimes openly in bars and clubs and whether I go to Thailand to visit temples or brothels masquerading as bars some people at home think I’m a pervert based on their understanding of what Thai Tourism is about. This alone indicates a perception of Thailand based on reputation whether right or wrong.

Thais often misunderstand what foreigners do, this doesn't make it obscene... You need to learn when walking

You have a serious problem. Thais and Thai culture as well as way of life, understand things in a different light. Not misunderstand, because you can´t bring your western ways and your way of looking at things here and expect Thais to go after what you think and how you see things or understand things. You chose to come to Thailand. Then it´s your job and duty to accept how and live by the way and respect the culture in the country you are a visitor in. So, who needs to walk now? But please, make that you walking away dance.

This Couple were at pool, not the beach, and as I said, no proof of anything obscene... Go learn what obscene means.

You have to leave your western ways at home. If you are in Thailand, it´s a shame. Coming to Thailand and refuse to understand. For me, that is a well deserved ticket home.

Someone should give you a ticket, Thailand has made you an angry old man, who sees tourists always wrong, and Thai never wrong.

You are totally wrong there too. Starting to be a red line regarding all your replies.

It is like this. Thailand has not made me angry, and if you consider 55 as an old man, hen that is of course up to you. What makes me angry, like a clearly explained to you and you seem to be unable to grasp, is all the crazy foreigners coning to Thailand and think they can apply their western style on the culture. And yes! Thais are also wrong. For example, they are lousy drivers and create too many unnecessary accidents with deadly outcome. They also have a strange mindset of owning a woman, and resort to heavy violence to quick. That was just two examples, but it might make you understand, or not.
