Nobody has said otherwise. But domestic issues should always take priority over pontificating about events thousands of miles away.

 

Of course, it's much easier to get on a soapbox about Palestine and Ukraine than it is to fix the NHS or the issues with UK housing/education. Which is why they do it. Some suckers lap it up...

Thank goodness that governing the UK is as straightforward as you portray it, and that international issues never affect the UK.

As a Labour supporter, I have been largely disappointed by the actions of this government to date. Although events e.g. Trump's actions haven't helped, many of their problems have been self-inflicted. There are some green shoots: The apparent desire to re-engage constructively with the EU being one. Nevertheless, a long way to go.

 

As for the alternatives. Imo Reform are light on policy detail and would bring greater division. The Liberals? Perhaps, but I would be concerned about their economic management. The Tories are a unorganised mess.

Actually, I'll qualify that slightly. Trump bad for the world outside of the US. I'll leave it to US posters to comment on his domestic performance.

 

EU good: Absolutely when you consider what Brexit has achieved i.e. very little, if any, positive effect and no end of negatives.
