Fifteen killed by Israeli fire near Gaza aid site, hospitals say

At least 15 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire as they gathered near an aid distribution centre in central Gaza, hospitals say.

Officials at al-Aqsa and al-Awda hospitals said people were shot by troops near a site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which is backed by Israel and the US. It is inside the Israeli military's Netzarim Corridor.

The Israeli military said troops fired warning shots at a group they believed posed a potential threat. An aircraft also struck one person who advanced rapidly towards them, it added.

You post by the way has nothing to do with GHF it is about one of the UN aid sites but I see you are now trying to pin every on them even when its another aid provider that has nothing to do with them

One of the most shocking developments since I started helping GHF is to really see some in the media’s reliance on the Gaza Health Ministry, which is Hamas. They report Hamas propaganda as fact.

It said 33 people were killed trying to reach a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) centre near Rafah, while another person died heading to an aid hub in the central Gaza Strip

 

Israeli troops had opened fire as they attempted to control the crowds early on Monday close to the Rafah site, two witnesses said.

 

The number of deaths in shootings was the highest reported daily total since the Israeli and US-backed aid centres opened in May, as thousands of Palestinians move through Israeli military-controlled areas to get to them.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) continued its operations today to provide vital food aid for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Below is an update on today’s operations:
 
BY THE NUMBERS
 
Distributed 3,104,640 meals today across four distribution sites:
SDS1 (Tal Sultan) distributed 12 truckloads of food today, totaling 11,520 boxes providing approximately 665,280 meals.
SDS2 (Saudi Neighborhood) distributed 15 truckloads of food today, totaling 14,400 boxes providing approximately 831,600 meals. 
SDS3 (Khan Younis) distributed 20 truckloads of food today, totaling 19,200 boxes providing approximately 1,108,800 meals. 
SDS4 (Wadi Gaza) distributed 9 truckloads of food today, totaling 8,640 boxes providing approximately 498,960 meals.
This brings the total number of meals distributed to-date to approximately 25,910,302 via roughly 442,080 boxes.

Aid distribution at all sites proceeded without incident.
