FBI Reopens Investigations into White House Cocaine Discovery and Supreme Court Leak

The FBI has decided to reopen investigations into two high-profile controversies that have captured the attention of conservative commentators and politicians. Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced on social media platform X that the bureau is re-examining the 2023 incident in which cocaine was discovered in the White House, along with the 2022 leak of the Supreme Court's draft opinion in the Dobbs case, which ultimately led to the end of constitutional protections for abortion.

In his statement, Bongino explained that upon assuming office, he and FBI Director Kash Patel reviewed cases “of potential public corruption” that had drawn significant public scrutiny. “We made the decision to either re-open, or push additional resources and investigative attention, to these cases,” Bongino wrote.

He specified that the reopened cases include “the DC pipe bombing investigation, the cocaine discovery at the prior administration’s White House, and the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case.” According to Bongino, he receives weekly briefings on these matters and stated that “we are making progress.” He added, “If you have any investigative tips on these matters that may assist us then please contact the FBI.”

The White House cocaine incident occurred during the 4th of July holiday weekend in 2023. A small plastic bag containing cocaine was found in a cubby near the entrance to the West Wing, a heavily trafficked area used by staff and visitors alike. The incident immediately sparked partisan speculation, with President Donald Trump claiming without evidence that only President Joe Biden or his son Hunter could be responsible. The White House dismissed those accusations as “incredibly irresponsible,” emphasizing that the Biden family was not in Washington at the time.

The Secret Service, which initially led the investigation, concluded it was not possible to determine the origin of the bag due to the absence of fingerprints or DNA. As a result, the case was closed. Despite this, Bongino has repeatedly asserted, without presenting evidence, that he has spoken with whistleblowers who believe the cocaine may be linked to someone in Biden’s inner circle.

The leak of the Supreme Court's draft opinion in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization case has also remained a contentious issue. The draft, published by Politico on May 2, 2022, revealed the Court’s intention to overturn Roe v. Wade, effectively eliminating federal protections for abortion. Trump called for the imprisonment of journalists who published the leak until the source was identified, branding the leaker “slime.”

Bongino reiterated his belief that new attention and resources could lead to breakthroughs. He also provided an update on internal reforms at the FBI, noting that he and Director Patel are finalizing their “reform teams,” a process he says is nearly complete. “The hiring process can take a little bit of time, but we are approaching that finish line,” he said, adding that these reforms are central to their broader agenda.

Bongino also addressed the FBI leadership’s limited public presence. “The Director and I have done only one media interview together,” he wrote. “We decided early on to limit our media footprint overall in order to keep the attention on the work being done.” He acknowledged that this approach has its pros and cons but emphasized their commitment to transparency through written updates on social media.

In closing, Bongino said, “I try to read as much of your feedback as possible but the workday is busy, and my office is a SCIF with limited phone access.” Responding to public reaction from their recent interview, he promised that more details would be released soon to clarify lingering questions.

Personally, I think Harris dropped it there. Or was placed there to pick up later by someone else. But that is my opinion only especially after seeing videos of Harris after she lost the elections.. She looked haggard and high or drunk.

Please enumerate  (probably from plagiarizing some lying media outlet) the crimes committed by Hegseth.

Please do the same with the stuff that shows he is morally bankrupt.

Do the same with Trump. What crimes is he "engaged in".

Of course, absent a response, and in light of your documented plagiarizing, we can just deem your screech above to be the blatant lies you are known for, as you pursue your obsessive 40 year revenge tour against the man that beat you in real estate deals in the 1980s.

You should think about how psychologically  destructive your demented grudge is to your health. Forty years of hate just festering. Take a vacation on a peaceful beach and have a Pina Colada, you are a caricature of how deranged grudges can destroy a life.

I have ex wives I hate less. I dont even remember some of their names.

Lucky Hunter has that pre-emptive pardon.

You know, the one that Joe promised would never happen.

Thank goodness the GOP won. Thanks Kamala.

We all know Biden did not have any morally bankrupt super creeps.  At least anyone more than Biden himself.  They know who brought the drugs in.  Like everything else, the media ran cover with the story told.   Bongino will find out the truth,

Was Conor McGregor not there 🤣

Over a decade ago tests in the German Parliament (Bundestag) also turned out positive for cocaine. I think they tested the washbasins in the men's room. Note that with test nowadays being very sensitive, it doesn't take many cocaine users to leave traces.

Trumps a politician. He, like all of them, is expected to lie and engage in puffery.

The media is supposed to call them out, not join in.

But tell us then, since evidently you have read the article unavailable to others, how is Trump connected to this drug scheme, and what was it about?

Got it. Rolling stone, anonymous sources, paperwork errors. Why didnt Bidens justice department call a Grand Jury to investigate?

Maybe because it, as is most of the garbage that you folks quote, is a lie?

Media is a twisting source no doubt, and it will be a stupid debate argue about who is the worst of them. In most cases I find reuters reliable.

What Donald is up to, is revenge and distraction, and nothing else.

Did his son apply for Harvard?

Looks what happens to Harvard now?

He is spending so much resources on revenge and who is paying?

Stop defending a moron, help rebuilding your country by make sure you got better options in 3 years from now.

A bag of cocain inside white house the worst that happened? That needs a grand jury?

Why isnt every white house represents obligated to drug tests?

Working in North sea for American companies, we had to do drug tests

I forsee a  nice open Republican convention and primary where ALL, regardless of race creed colour or religion are free to cast their vote for a candidate, either JD, Marco, DeSantis etc. No Democrat can beat any of them.

In light of the worst scandal in political history of the world now unraveling, yes.

What is about you and many others, is the sureness of everything! Never doubt anything.

Most people I know, they look at a problems, or a case, check facts, still in doubt, being careful to be ton sure, and we can agree both sides can have something about it.

But in discussions with people who are sure, you have to provide a few other viewpoints to balance everything out. With people who are 100% sure all the time even they are wrong, it is impossible to have an valuable debate, especially when the name calling starts.

Unhealthy and not very smart.

Got to laugh at his hypocrisy. Public corruption is almost a daily routine by the criminally indicted felon in the Oval Office. If it is of significant public interest, open the Epstein file. No, you re-open the files because your dear leader has gaslighted these cases for his political agenda. Trump had falsely alleged Joe Biden in the cocaine case, called the Supreme Court leaker slime and push unfounded theory that the left planted the bomb to incite violence and frame his supporters.

Save you some trolling time. Trump has gutted the FBI corruption squad that handles investigation of federal staffs and lawmakers. Rest is what he said and posted. You probably don't read much.
