Yep, quite the irony, they wanted 100's of boats to join them, hence "flotilla" and they are all on their lonesome despite cries for more boats on their X account.

The cult of Greta proves that the loony Left has gone mainstream

Thunberg and co do not mean freedom from Hamas, against whom thousands of brave Gazans have been protesting. They mean from Israel. Not just Israeli military action but, in accordance with the rest of their playbook of slogans, from the proximity of the Jewish state full stop.
Anti-Israel chanting, stickering, posturing and boycotting has been a mainstay of Lefty life for as long as I’ve been alive. But since October 7, a new normal has spread and spread; a kind of slow-release pogrom, if you will. The loony Left, once possibly to ignore, is now everywhere, and everything.

The fixation middle aged men had and still do have over her was always creepy.

Perhaps you are right, as she grows older her relevance to their needs  will subside.

I've never seen or heard of anyone fawning over her. wtf ?

She's been irrelevant for a couple years already. Her and the inventor of the internet. lol

This is how Gretas gang view the situation :

"Life in Gaza has changed dramatically and permanently since October 7, 2023 when Palestinians, held captive for the past 17 years in Gaza under an illegal Israeli blockade, broke through the walls of what many describe as “the world’s largest open air prison.” On that date, Israel launched a massive military campaign that continues to this day. As of April 2025 Israel had murdered more than 60,000 Palestinians in Gaza (mostly civilians, including more than 17,000 children) and injured and displaced more than one million people. Israel also declared it was locking down the Gaza strip, preventing food, water, fuel, and electricity from entering Gaza.  The World Health Organization has warned that the population is starving to death. Israel continues to defy a January 2024 ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) requiring the admission of adequate humanitarian aid to Gaza. The ICJ found it “plausible” that Israel’s acts violate the Genocide Convention. See Al Jazeera’s ongoing live tracker for current casualty, displacement and death counts, as well as relevant maps."

The full article on the Freedom Flotilla Web site (https://freedomflotilla.org/conditions-in-gaza/) runs to 720 words.  Not once is the death of 1,200 Israelis and non-Israelis on Oct. 7 mentioned, nor does the word "hostage" appear or are the attacks by Hamas acknowledged.  Life changed "dramatically and permanently" for tens of thousands of Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, but those  casualties of the conflict don't matter to Greta and her ilk.

Ignoring or downplaying deaths of and injuries to Jews because of violent attacks, whether in the Holocaust or elsewhere, is a classic sign of antisemitism.  I would really, really like to ask Greta and the other activists on the Madleen the following questions:

  1. Should Hamas immediately release the hostages it holds?
  2. Does Israel have the right to exist as a sovereign state and homeland to the world's Jews?
  3. Is Hamas a terrorist group?
