Is the shuttle bus still running from CEI to downtown?

 

I heard a whisper that it has been scrapped.

As far as I know it has stopped running. It stopped during Covid. They did try to resurrect it but it didnt last long.

They have Taxis, and of course the Airport Limo's. As ever at all airports (something to do with the jet fuel in the air?) the meters are broken!

I definitely took it within the last year, so it wasn't scrapped during Covid.  Whether it's still currently running, I don't know.  

@Cuchulainn Perhaps try calling the airport, they would know for sure.

Picture taken 1st October 2020 so middle of Covid.  We were going to a bus terminal but the sign behind the driver mentions the airport.

Just called CEI airport.

That's unfortunate. It was a good and cheap service, and it can be really hard to get a Grab or Bolt at the airport sometimes, at least at the rates stated in the app.  I spent 30 minutes once going through multiple drivers on Bolt who each accepted my ride, then immediately said that the app price was not acceptable and I would need to pay more for them to actually pick me up.

   It was terrible service , they went every 40-80 minutes and the bus stops werent even marked
