An incident in Phitsanulok province claimed the lives of two teenagers, after a high-speed motorcycle crash sent the vehicle hurtling into a roadside coffee shop.

The incident occurred at approximately 16:30 on the Phitsanulok–Kwae Noi Road in Village 4, Pak Thok Subdistrict, Mueang District. Police Lieutenant Narumon Saeng-un of Mueang Phitsanulok Police Station responded to the emergency, alongside a medical team from Naresuan University Hospital and rescue workers from the Prasat Boonyasathan Foundation.

Upon arrival, authorities found a red Honda Wave 125i motorcycle, registration number from Phitsanulok, embedded in the wall of a coffee shop. The vehicle had sustained major damage. Nearby, a severely injured individual was receiving CPR before being rushed to hospital.

Inside the coffee shop, responders discovered the body of 15-year-old Mr Paripat, a resident of Village 9, Wong Khong Subdistrict, Phrom Phiram District. He was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple injuries. A backpack containing a school uniform was also found near his body.

The second victim, also 15, who had initially survived the crash, later succumbed to his injuries at Naresuan University Hospital.

CCTV footage from a nearby tyre shop showed the motorcycle speeding just moments before losing control and crashing into the café. Fortunately, the shop was closed at the time, and no customers or staff were present, preventing further casualties.

The bodies have been sent to the Naresuan University forensic unit for autopsy before being released to the families for traditional funeral rites.

Police are continuing their investigation but excessive speed was a key factor in the crash.

What can we say.

This is just an everyday thing in Thailand.

No one in authority cares, police, government, schools, or parents.

Two more burnings at the temple, and all forgotten about a few days latter.

So Sad and a national disgrace.

R.I.P. boys. they all failed you.
