Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has commanded around-the-clock surveillance on the escalating Israeli-Iranian conflict and tensions at the Thai-Cambodian border.

Despite the turmoil, no Thai nationals in Israel or Iran have reportedly been harmed amidst the ongoing aerial exchanges. In a televised address, Prime Minister Paetongtarn underscored the urgency of the situation, ordering relentless vigilance to protect Thai interests abroad and ensure national security.

Jirayu Huangtrakul, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, disclosed that the Foreign and Labour ministries have been instructed to maintain close communication with Thai embassies in both conflicted regions.

Preparations are underway for a potential evacuation of Thai citizens if the situation becomes more precarious. Given the rapid developments, these measures are deemed crucial to safeguard the welfare of Thai nationals.

Turning to domestic matters, Deputy Defence Minister Gen. Nattaphon Nakphanit updated the cabinet on the ongoing issues at the Thai-Cambodian border. Since May 29, the army has been actively managing the situation as directed by the Prime Minister.

To expedite responses, a Special Operations Centre for Administration of Thai-Cambodian Border Situation has been established. This centre is tasked with concentrating efforts from various agencies to monitor, analyse, and address border tensions effectively.

With the establishment of a dedicated panel, the government aims to ensure a constant flow of information and quick action where necessary.

This body will provide assessments and recommendations to the National Security Council, the Prime Minister, or the cabinet. Once normality is restored, the panel will dissolve, reverting control back to routine operations.

The intensified efforts on both fronts underscore Thailand's proactive stance in managing national security challenges and protecting its citizens.

Obviously she and her cabinet (not the drinks cabinet - but it would probably provide better advice) are preparing to advise The Donald and all of Israel how to win a war. After breakfast she is going to get Cambodia to surrender.

With the conflicts in middle east... the closure of air space in that region... many flights have got cancelled and also the cost is rising up for flights as well as fuel... which will significantly effect the tourism industry in SE Asia...

The way things are going... seems Now till October... is a no go for many travelers...

No word about the issue at the International Court???

If Thailand would follow the law there would be no "tensions".
