Thai police have already approved bars on Soi 6 to allow rooms upstairs to be used for short timers. Might as well call it a brothel that serves drinks. 

Holy Crap ...  sextourist / sexpats are dumber than I thought.  Is it me, or are they some silly A$$ prices ?  I have to plead ignorance, as not knowing the prices in USA, or other countries, but doesn't sound any cheaper here in TH.  

 

Doesn't include the airfare and hours going through security just to get in the sardine can for hours on end.

 

Seems my friends w/bennies, (when single), having a nice dinner and overnight fun wasn't just great, but damn economical.

 

Even in TH, if only have sex (P4P) 10 times a month, that far exceeds my monthly living expense.

I agree... quite ridiculous the prices now are. And yes you can find the same or cheaper in the US as well as better quality figures on the women.But there are some who want that Asian experience haha.. They drink and their peckers get hard and they stop using their bigger heads. haha.. 

Not all the women asking so much. But average is 100 US or more now if wanting an hour alone with one of these Thai women.

Simple inflation or price gouging.  

 

Year 2000, and first trip to TH, dive trip to Phuket, long week, and did have a 24 hr rental, but it was only ฿600 (฿500+฿100), and kept her all week, 24/7.    Thought that was a bargain, and great fun, especially since it was ฿40 / $1.   My only experience with P4P.

The report you refer to was area specific.  Never has anyone "guaranteed that there is no prostitution in Thailand".  Famously after an inspection of Walking Street the police were quoted as saying they found 'no prostitution' on that street, which is not surprising as any prostitutes soliciting on the street would have removed themselves before the police arrived.
