It might be "wordy" nonsense because you can't understand it. that's where more reading might help you. You, like a certain other two here, assume constantly, and I mean that in the strongest sense of the word. You do not, know anything about where I've been besides what I've said, and know nothing about where I go here. There are people who know a lot more about the moon than someone who walked a few yards on the moon and left.

I'm in CM. You have never been. Your opinion means nothing. If you met Neil Armstrong you would lecture him on moon landings cause you read more books.

Some people do

Some read books

I've never seen gays assault people here.

Looks exactly like a thousand other cities here in Thailand,

Thailand doesnt have a 1000 cities and the Old City looks nothing like most Thai cities. There is no part of Thailand that comes close. Korat Old City is 20% like it.

If you visited you would know.

When I say cities I'm not talking just about large cities but towns also. I know Thailand has only 30 or so major cities, thesaban nakhons. That picture could  be a thousand places here in Thailand,as there aren't any signs or landmarks to judge from. And it still has nothing to do with what I've been saying.

My never being in CM still, again, has nothing to do with what I've been referring to, which is your comments on gays. That stadium is in CM, and again, might be a gay hangout, which also doesn't have any bearing on this conversation and your replies. I don't make opinions, so yes, they and yours don't mean anything. Gays assault people all over the world, but most of us might never see it happen, because, as I said before, you cannot be in more than one place at a time. And again, a person who reads has more knowledge than one who doesn't.

I don't know what you're point is. Running at 10.30pm straight or gay doesnt make sense to me. Each to their own. Sounds dangerous. Might trip over. Might get mugged.

My point is, like many of those here, is that you reply to provoke an argument, instead of adding to it constructively, and that you assume constantly here , thinking you do or know more than people you've never met. Can't you see how illogical that is? Like I said, look back at your own replies and see what you've said and try to recognize just how crazy some are, along with most being assumptions.

You started the argument.

I'm thinking he jogs to earn those croissants. Some exercise just so they can eat and "get away with it". As to the OP, maybe he never touched a foreigner and just wanted that experience. Next time check for your wallet, as hugging is one of a pickpocket's methods.

It's a favourite ladyboy ploy in Pattaya, careful with your gold chain, if you're Indian, of course.

A lot of what people do here is arguing, along with calling out others who are racist, prejudiced, misogynist or hateful towards others, especially innocents. This is part of being a moral human, sticking up for other people who are being bullied or torn down by those who don't know any better, or who have never learned respect for differences. If you come here to intentionally antagonize others it's childish or narcissistic, and that doesn't belong in an adult forum.

Just wanted to get some thoughts or advice from others here. I’ve been running at the 700 Years Stadium in   for a while now, usually quite late at night. Last night was no different   I finished my run around 10.30pm, tired, sat down on a bench near Gate 2 with my bottle of water and a couple of croissants. Bike parked nearby, same as always.

During my run, I actually passed a policeman cycling around the stadium. He was friendly, said hello, and I replied in Thai that I was out exercising. Said something like "yes, very hot running." He smiled and rode on. So I know there is some police presence there at night, which makes this next bit even more confusing.

Not long after, this Thai guy   possibly Chinese Thai   parked his own bike a bit further down the track, away from the main area. Then he walked straight up to me, sat uncomfortably close, and before I could react, suddenly hugged me. Full on, no words, just wrapped his arms around me. Completely out of nowhere.

Instinctively I shoved him off. He got the message, went back to his bike, and rode off.

I’ve seen all sorts of characters around that area, but never had something this strange happen before. I wasn’t shocked as much as just disgusted. I thought briefly about following him, but didn’t. No idea what he was on   possibly drugs, not acting normal at all.

Now I’m wondering what I should do. Should I have reported it to the police? Or to whoever manages the 700 Years Stadium area? Is it even worth reporting something like this? It’s hard to know whose responsibility it is.

Would be genuinely helpful to hear from anyone who’s had a similar experience or has practical advice on how to deal with something like this. Ideally, something structured   like:

Is it worth informing the police even if the guy's long gone?

There a security office at the stadium entrance, is it worth reporting?

Are there better lit or safer times to run there?

I usually run late because of the heat and it’s been fine up to now, but this really threw me off. Just trying to process it and figure out what to do next.

You r either a troll or insane.

And now we get to the root of the problem...  Fear.
A fear that reaches deep into the very core of your understanding.
It explains a lot.
I'm truly sorry to hear it, and I hope you are able to address it successfully.
