I am planning a move to Bangkok soon and wonder how one finds an apartment to rent.  Is there website available to use?  Should i use an agent?  I am looking for a lower priced place.  Say under 20,000 Baht.

Anyone have a tip?

Hotels start at 450 baht. Stay in one until you find one.

Any specific area in Bangkok?

Do you own a car?

Is central location important?

What size apartment.

Studio or one bedroom.

Pool important?

Besides the above 'Fazwaz', just Google 'property to rent bangkok' and you'll get a couple more sites, although many have the same listings, same & different pricing ...

... DD property

... thailand property & few more

You can filter in the area, or even the BTS/MRT stop on some sites.  Quite handy, as you do want to be near a rail line, or at least a bus line.

If seeing something that interest, cross reference the complex, building name, or find using Gmaps, and you may get some more info & reviews on Gmaps.   Also streetview, to see actually what is in the area.

Good Luck
