  • Easy to say when it wasn't your young people slaughtered at a pop concert and it's not your people being held as hostages.

  • Lock Netanyahu up in the Hague for the outstanding ICC charges and this whole mess would be over in a couple of weeks.

  • Yeah well there are hostages to rescue so continued shooting is fine. Cease fire upon a release of hostages and white flag

Iran are the winners in this Genocide, and China, just wait. Your country are the big loser.

Nah, we have the Jews on our side. That means we are winners.

As the head of the UN said, Oct 7 didn’t happen in a vacuum. Do you not understand this?
Do you know Operation Shield and Arrow in May 2023?

You worry about religion a lot. Do you know Ayaan Ali and Salman Rushdie?

Yeah but two wrongs don’t make a right. Shame on the international community except for a couple of countries that took action upholding international law. A ceasefire is well short of justice. Israel has pressed the self-destruct button already. Just a matter of time now.

There are Christian Zionists, like the US ambassador to IZ.

Gaza is suffering man-made mass starvation caused by the blockade of aid into the territory, the head of the World Health Organization has said, as more than 100 agencies urged Israel to let supplies in to alleviate the crisis.

“I don’t know what you would call it other than mass starvation, and it’s man-made, and that’s very clear,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a virtual press conference from Geneva. “This is because of [the] blockade.”

A letter signed by 109 agencies including Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam International and Amnesty International says the Israeli government is blocking humanitarian organisations from effectively distributing life-saving aid.

They are fighting for food and to stop the Jews taking their land. Please watch the news.

How did they make their bed?

They made their bed when attacking Israel on 10/7.  Stupid Arabs never learn.

Gaza

What makes you think that they are trying a land grab on Gaza?

Israel handed over Gaza to the Palestinians nearly 20 years ago and withdrew all Israel citizens. This left the Palestinians to self-govern and look what a mess they made of that.

Why on earth would the Israelis want to have that problem?

Note that when Israel offered to return Gaza to Egypt during peace negotiations, Egypt did not want it back! I wonder why!

The Palestinians have caused big problems everywhere they go, including Jordan, Kuwait, Syria and Lebanon. The sensible Arabs want nothing to do with them.

Stupid Americans don’t understand they and Israel are becoming pariahs and losing big in this Genocide.

That was in response to Palestinian Islamic Jihad attacking Israel.

It's easy, just release the hostages and it will be over, even I know that,

Shocking- you generalise an entire faith of over 1.9 billion people based on the actions of a few of the horrors of conflict. If you truly believe that telling your neighbours you want to kill them is unacceptable, then you must hold all sides accountable for dehumanising rhetoric and violent actions. That includes not just the likes of Hamas, but also settler violence, civilian bombings, hostage-taking, and collective punishment. These all fuel the same brutal cycle of fear, hate, and revenge. No one side has a monopoly on victimhood or guilt.

As for the idea that this is about “Islam” - that’s a dangerous and lazy generalisation. “Reading the book” isn’t enough. The Bible has verses about stoning people and slaughtering enemies. The Qur’an, like most sacred texts, can be interpreted peacefully or violently depending on who's doing the reading and why. But in reality, the vast majority of Muslims worldwide live peacefully, raise families, help their neighbours, and abhor the kind of violence associated with groups like Hamas or ISIS.

And speaking of war - I've studied International Relations for years, and in my 29 years I’ve never come across any so-called “all-out wars to destroy Israel and the Jews.” So please, do tell - which wars exactly are you referring to? And who declared them as wars of extermination?

The only war I can think of where Israel weren’t the aggressors was the 1948 where Arabs countries justifiably attacked Israel and according to my maths was the year you were born…my grandad is 77 and confused too, and we don’t let him near Facebook unsupervised.

Sorry I'm so old, that demolishes my argument completely. I'm not going to list the wars, but they were conducted in order to kill all the Jews, as they said at the time.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Israel Do some more studying. Even now, with their "from the river to the sea", amusing jingle, they are demanding, and have been since they started this round, means destroy Israel, kill all the Jews. The Sunnis believe that when all Jews are gone, then truth and justice will rule. They believe this, along with getting rid of that most persecuted religious group, the Christians. Not just,"Oh well, nobody believes stuff these days. It's their life. Hamas has, in its constitution, the aim of eradicating all the Jews. So do other Islamic groups around the world.

Christians (Can you read? Christians... that came after the Old Testament, which nobody takes seriously these days): "do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Islamists : "that's a load of BS". There is no rational argument or reeducation that will change them, fear of hell is inculcated at an early age.

They invaded Spain, Portugal and southern France, were defeated before the gates of Vienna, drove out the Christians from Turkey, North Africa, India and the Middle East. Not peacefully, but with the full blessing of the Koran.

Tell me one country, out of the 195, apart from Israel that doesn’t want a ceasefire.

Which neighbors of Palestine don’t?

Not one of the 28 is from the Middle East, let alone from Israel's immediate neighbours. Neither, for that matter, is the USA.

To repeat my earlier answer a neighbour of Palestine was not one of the 28, neither was the USA.

Here's the official response on X from Oren Marmorstein,  a spokesperson for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the 28-nation demand for a ceasefire.  You can read the whole statement here:  https://x.com/OrenMarmorstein/status/1947321924708663619

"Israel rejects the joint statement published by a group of countries, as it is disconnected from reality and sends the wrong message to Hamas.

"All statements and all claims should be directed at the only party responsible for the lack of a deal for the release of hostages and a ceasefire: Hamas, which started this war and is prolonging it."

Most importantly:

"There is a concrete proposal for a ceasefire deal, and Israel has repeatedly said yes to this proposal, while Hamas stubbornly refuses to accept it."

As long as they  continue to "harbor" terrorists, they will continue to suffer while I sympathize with the innocent(incl. children).

The Arab countries and UN have condemned Israel many times before this resolution. This resolution consist of countries that recognized and supported Israel. It is a powerful resolution of condemnation by allies of Israel. Shame that USA not in the list of countries. Does  not look good on them.

Rest assured that the reality is that Palestine and Palestinians are less than popular, to put it mildly, in other middle eastern countries no matter what they may say for political convenience.

France, Italy and Japan among the signatories, but not Germany, Israel's pet dog and free ATM.

Are Hamas required to comply with International law as well ?

Or is it just Israel ?

The reality is all the countries in the Arab League recognized the State of Palestine as a sovereign state together with 147 of 193 members states of UN. Pardon me for not understanding your post.

That's ok. You are forgiven.

Perhaps these 28 nations should focus pressure on Hamas like it is focused on Israel!

What were the consequences of those previous resolutions ?

The consequences lay heavily on USA who has continue not to recognised the state of Palestine.
