The consequences lay heavily on USA who has continue not to recognised the state of Palestine.

But even more so on Palestinian groups which have continued not to recognize the state of Israel.

  • Easy to say when it wasn't your young people slaughtered at a pop concert and it's not your people being held as hostages.

  • Lock Netanyahu up in the Hague for the outstanding ICC charges and this whole mess would be over in a couple of weeks.

  • Yeah well there are hostages to rescue so continued shooting is fine. Cease fire upon a release of hostages and white flag

The Arab countries and UN have condemned Israel many times before this resolution. This resolution consist of countries that recognized and supported Israel. It is a powerful resolution of condemnation by allies of Israel. Shame that USA not in the list of countries. Does  not look good on them.

Why would we condemn a country that has the moral high ground?

What makes you think that they are trying a land grab on Gaza?

Israel handed over Gaza to the Palestinians nearly 20 years ago and withdrew all Israel citizens. This left the Palestinians to self-govern and look what a mess they made of that.

Why on earth would the Israelis want to have that problem?

Note that when Israel offered to return Gaza to Egypt during peace negotiations, Egypt did not want it back! I wonder why!

It may not be official Israeli government policy (yet) but various members of Netanyahu's governing coalition are openly in favour of establishing Israeli settlements in Gaza.

two senior far-right Cabinet ministers, six lawmakers from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing Likud party and several of his party's chapter leaders from across Israel took part in Monday's pro-settlement rally.

Israeli settlers in Gaza? Netanyahu's allies lay out a strategy

In a dramatic global appeal, 28 countries have united to demand the immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza.

So, 28 pencilnecks got together to write really big words basically. 28 countries have mobilized military units as a joint security force to personally deliver humanitarian aid to endangered civilians in wartorn Gaza due to Iranian funded terrorists. <--That headline would impress me.

This united front accuses Israel of inadequately providing humanitarian aid, insisting it comply with international laws. The initial message, issued on July 21, emphasised the dire suffering of Gaza's civilians and called for an end to the conflict.

This "United Front" is acting like they favor terrorism over peace. :coffee1:

Almost one in three people in the Gaza Strip are going for days without eating, the UN's food aid programme has warned.

"Malnutrition is surging with 90,000 women and children in urgent need of treatment," the World Food Programme (WFP) said in a statement.

Warnings of starvation in Gaza have intensified this week. Nine more people died of malnutrition on Friday, according to the Palestinian territory's Hamas-run health ministry - bringing the total such deaths since the war began to 122.
