Interesting. I can't emember any article on AN bringing Biden's mental aquity into question when he was POTUS and when questions were being raised. Maybe I'm incorrect and there were articles. Indeed it sure seems to me that there are very few positive aricles about Trump rather there's a plethora of anti-Trump articles such as this one from The Guardian with CNN, BBC and other legacy media outlets contributing to many other articles.

Biden has retired, try concentrating on your man now in control who is obviously in mental decline............:coffee1:

There are idiots and then there are those that don’t qualify for idiots. Trump is a great business man and superb president extremely intelligent and shows no signs of senility at this point. Baring False Witness as so many of you are doing just shows you’re not totally stupid just mostly stupid.
Get your facts straight and quit being just babbling idiots.

Hatred is a terrible disease.

Yeah, and now let's see you run the country.

And let's see how many people will be mocking you.

As in any big organization all that is needed are good people around a core of competent decision makers. A good president doesn't really run the country, he may give a general direction (providing his competent advisors can tweak and advise). The details are best left to a professional civil service unencumbered by political affiliations, it isn't possible for a minister to know the full machinery of a large ministry which is why he has his advisors in close contact with the civil service.

Trump has caused chaos because he insists on doing everything alone, his only advisors are incompetent sycophants, yes men without a spine. Trump himself isn't very intelligent, he has no idea of history or geography, as his past business dealings have shown he is a terrible businessman, nor is he a good orator, he speaks like a mafia boss from the Bronx. He has a keen political instinct which he uses to survive, he is superficial with no philosophical or spiritual leanings, there is no depth to the man. In any European country he wouldn't even be considered as a department leader in a fast food restaurant, but America is an anomaly where dross rises to the surface.

So are the anti-Trump brigade actually idiots or not?

First you say they don't qualify to be idiots.  Then you say (after misspelling the word "bearing") they're not totally stupid, just mostly stupid.

After that you call them babbling idiots.  But how can they be babbling idiots if they don't qualify to be idiots and they're only "mostly stupid".

As for the rest of your post, you may wish to re-evaluate who, exactly, is the idiot.

I would go with the poster who identified/ diagnosed “ confabulation “, it fits with all his untrue stories, eg about his late Uncle who was a Doctor ( as mentioned before) and also about the money the US had given to Gaza.

I worked in the of ‘dementia’ and they often confabulate, make up stories that at first come across as real. Then when you fact- check, you realize that you were conned. They have no insight into their behaviour, so not aware that they are doing it!

They are an abomination and totally unnecessary...... but a vital prop for the geoengineering climate change shamsters.

AI agrees with Trump, although Trump is exaggerating when using that as an excuse.

However, Trump also lists several other reasons why he doesn't like wind turbines as a solution to energy.

He has always gone off topic during interviews and speeches.

I think he has slowed a bit mentally and physically, but nothing as bad as demented Biden.

There was lots of articles and discussion in the media - maybe not articles on Asean Now. I have noted that I can remember a huge focus on his last State of the Union where all media left and right was looking at how he'd go after lots of scrutiny on his performance - he nailed it though - sadly in retrospect as it delayed the inevitable - but I am still in the camp of that Biden was befuddled with age but still had his wits about him - but needed time to get his brain together if you will - therefore no good at small talk and quick responses.

"US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he "doesn't know anything" about the American imports of fertilisers and chemicals from Russia. The statement came in response to India's accusation of "double standards" over Washington's criticism of New Delhi's continued purchase of Russian oil.Trump’s remarks came during a press conference at the White House, when a reporter asked: "India says the US buys Russian uranium and fertilisers while criticising them for buying Russian energy. Your response to that?"Trump replied: "I don’t know anything about it. We will have to check.""
-https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/international-business/trade-war-trump-was-asked-about-indias-claim-on-us-importing-russian-uranium-fertilisers-heres-his-response/articleshow/123131430.cms

What concerns me about Trump is that he knows less than normal well-informed US citizens.  That and his rambling makes me wonder about his mental status, although any comparison with Biden is moot.  Biden couldn't find his way off of a stage no less string coherent sentences together, plus he was sheltered from the press and couldn't do impromptu interviews.  Trump can do press interviews but his facts are scrambled or he doesn't know things he should know, or he's just 100% wrong on issues or he simply fabricates things, like "thousands have died on the Thai / Cambodian border and I, Donald Trump The Great, have ended that conflict single-handedly."  Ok, I'm being facetious, but he did fabricate the "thousands have died on the Thai / Cambodian border" which is just bovine excrement.  If you brain doesn't work, just make things up.

Well, maybe it is time for Dnosaur Trump to step down.

Just remember it was the American supporters that voted him into power.

Hopefully he will fade away soon. very soon.

trump invokes "the late, great Davey Crockett" in an attempt to insult Rep Jasmine Crockett.

"I won the election in a landslide," Trump said. "And obviously that’s only, you know, we’re only six months in, but my poll numbers are better now, much better than during the election. Part of that is because the Democrat Party is self-destructing. I mean, when you have low IQ, people like Crockett, I wonder if she’s any relation to the late, great Davy Crockett, who is a great, great, a great gentleman. I wonder if she’s got any relationship to Davy Crockett, the great old Davy Crockett."

https://www.foxnews.com/media/president-trump-hits-back-jasmine-crockett-calls-her-a-very-low-iq-person

Lies in this short quote alone:

1. He didn’t win in a landslide, he won the popular vote 49.81% to 48.31% for Harris. I would hardly call that a landslide.

2. His poll numbers now are not much better than during the election.

3. Jasmine Crockett does not have a low IQ. I will bet you dollars to donuts that her IQ is much higher than Trump’s.

And has anyone noticed that he always refers to black people he doesn’t like or hates as ‘low IQ’? It’s just one of Trump’s many ways of being a filthy racist.

Well said.

These politically motivated attacks are disgraceful, especially as they come from the same people claiming Biden was "sharp as a tack" as he stumbled/tripped across various stages, calling out dead people in a slurred voice.

He did it again last weekend regarding the comedian and social commenter Charlemagne tha God.

He's kind of an equal opportunity racist, however. Yes, Blacks originated from "<deleted> hole" countries. Everybody south of the border is either a murderer or rapist. Haitians eat your pets.

On the rare occasions I have listened to Trump speaking, my brain hurts. Endless non-sequiturs, going off at a tangent, and the denial of basic facts. Slurred speaking. It's torture.

I have concluded people who can sit through a Trump rally must have numb bums, and even more numb brains.

His mental state is in question. When I saw him standing on the roof of the White House today, I thought he was about to jump.
