Two woman has been left with critical injuries after they Honda car became airborne and slammed into a utility pole in a shocking early morning crash in Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao.

The incident occurred around 05:30 on August 7, along the busy Route 304 (Chachoengsao - Phanom Sarakham Road), just before the Bang Khla four-way intersection in Samet Nuea subdistrict.

According to officers from Bang Khla Police Station, who responded to the scene, the Honda was travelling at high speed when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The car left the road, launched off an embankment and crashed violently into a roadside power pole.

The female passenger was thrown from the vehicle, with the impact embedding the front of the car into the pole, leaving the rear of the vehicle lifted dramatically into the air.

Emergency volunteers from a local rescue foundation arrived quickly and found the female passenger critically injured on the road and the female driver trapped in the wreckage, pinned to her seat. Rescue workers were forced to use hydraulic cutting tools to pry open the vehicle and safely extract the injured woman.

Both were rushed to Phutthasothon Hospital for emergency treatment, where their condition remains critical.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
