September 22, 2025Sep 22 Popular Post Donald Trump confirmed that the US would defend Poland and the Baltic states if attacked by Russia, emphasizing the nation's commitment to NATO's Article 5 mutual defense clause. This statement follows Russian drones and fighter jets breaching Estonian, Polish, and Romanian airspace, actions that have been widely condemned. Trump's remarks underscore a heightened frustration with Russia's recent provocations, though he has not detailed specific response plans. Czech President Petr Pavel urged a robust NATO response, suggesting shooting down Russian jets if necessary, in reaction to Moscow's repeated airspace violations. Meanwhile, US special envoy for Ukraine, Rt Gen Keith Kellogg, asserted that confronting Vladimir Putin's nuclear threats could make him retract, based on Trump’s past dealings with North Korea. Kellogg characterized Putin as a manipulative KGB agent, suggesting that strength is the only effective deterrent. The UN Security Council is meeting to address Estonia's claim of an airspace violation by Russian fighter jets, which Russia denies, stating their aircraft flew over neutral waters. Estonia has sought consultations with NATO allies under Article 4 following what it terms an "unprecedentedly brazen" incursion of its airspace by Russian MiG-31 jets. This meeting highlights the ongoing tensions and the critical nature of maintaining NATO's collective security commitments. Key Takeaways Trump confirms US defense commitment to Poland and Baltic states under NATO. Recent Russian incursions into NATO airspace prompt calls for stronger responses. September 23, 2025Sep 23 Probably like Ukraine he’ll attempt to sell them weapons to fight for themselves. The fact that the weapons haven’t been made yet is not an issue to DJT. Maybe an issue to Europe though🤣🤣🤣

Not Russia or anybody else cares if a handful of UK, French, or German troops are there. The entire concept depends on bringing in the US. Otherwise, western Europe would have to spend more money.

Western Europe is mobilizing without asking Trump participation which he has already indicated will be questionable. NATO and other allies have also planned GDP increases for increased military spending. Trump has shown as POTUS his support is not reliable.
