Pattaya Hotel Raided: Ugandan Women Arrested for Sex Work

Over the years there have been many statements from senior Thai police Officers stating that there is no prostitution in Thailand.

If that is the case why is there a need for the Prostitution Prevention and Suppression Act.?

A rhetorical question of course.

Can you provide a link to such statements?  I very much doubt any police officer, senior or otherwise, has ever stated that "there is no prostitution in Thailand".

Dang man.  No telling what may crawl out of that nest.

I'll admit that it looks better kept than most homeless' dreadlocks in this closeup view, but I'd still be afraid.

Who in their right mind comes to Thailand to shag a Ugandan?

A lot of white guys like women with dark skin. Gene diversity leads to stronger and more robust offspring survival. That's why you don't see people just mating within their own gene groups.

But that's like going to Italy to eat burritos.

arrests of two Ugandan women for allegedly operating a sex work business

So, now they have been blacklegged?

Ubangi? You bet'cha

Nothing to do with competition for Thais, as you'd know if you read the article properly, the arrests were as a result of complaints from international tourists as a result of disruptive behaviour from the blacks soliciting services on Pattaya Beach, which involved aggressive tactics to attract customers. This follows incidents where these women reportedly harassed tourists, demanding purchases and causing disturbances.

point well missed.

Nice of you to reply rather than just clicking report.

well done.

Good ol’ plod. Quick to respond to ensure the locals have no competition from foreigners in the business that they say doesn’t exist in Thailand!

What makes you think that I'd report your innocuous comment?

No one has ever claimed that there is no prostitution in Thailand.

Not so sure about that.

Years back, maybe still available today ? think a work permit was issued for exotic dancers. :whistling:

Correct.  But these girls were just hooking on the street.

Apparently dancing cost extra 😉

You have such a firm grasp of the obvious, it's difficult to understand why most folks think you are slow.

Complaints from competition, nonetheless. 🤔

Who else enjoys variety? 😎

I shagged a Ugandan bird in the Reaperbahn Hamburg years ago, When she dropped her gear her gentalia was reminiscent of Gene Autreys saddle bags.

Yet you ventured inside? Were there stalactites?

Somehow I don't think this is on offer! 🤔 But the woman in that video is gorgeous!

Not quite like the streetwalkers I've observed in Pattaya that's for sure!

OOI, personally I prefer the music from Southern Africa - think Bhundu Boys, Orchestra Super Mazembe or Miriam Makeba etc.

Who remembers "National Geographic" when you were a kid?

Ugandan kids have the kiddie dance market sewn up, I always wonder where the income goes, most of them are meant to be orphans. 24 mil views is not bad

I was unaware of that - 👍

Reminds me slightly of being in Phnom Penh in 2011 - my hotel was on Sisowath Quay and every evening at dusk, the local kids would come out and exercise to the tune of Gangnam Style.

Great fun to watch!  However, I think we're in danger of going :offtopic2:
