September 24, 2025Sep 24 I have a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai wife. I’ve had it for about a year, and it’s going to expire soon. I have a few questions: 1. How close to the expiry date can I still apply for an extension? Will they refuse the application if I apply just a few days before it expires? 2. I heard that some nationalities are now required to provide a police clearance certificate, is that true? 3. What documents do I need to prepare? Are they the same as when I first applied for the visa? Is there an official source with the most up to date list of required documents? 4. I missed my 90-day report deadline. Can I pay the fine when I apply for the extension, or do I need to queue separately to pay the fine?
September 24, 2025Sep 24 You do not have a valid visa. You have permission of stay with an expiry. You can renew anytime prior to expiry. 1. Answer above. 2. Not required for extensions 3. Required docs pretty much the same. 4. You would do the 90 report after extension. Most likely fine 2000b For more detailed information provide your immigration office location. Many threads such as this attached have helpful posts from members. Varies by immigration office https://aseannow.com/topic/1337120-what-are-docs-required-for-non-o-married-extension-please/

You would be well advised to obtain appointment. You can make appointment for extension and another appointment for 90 report (allow about 90 mins between appointments) I will post link This attached link outlines good plan to obtain appointment. They are often booked out for the 30 day window. The thread explains https://aseannow.com/topic/1373626-online-booking-cw/
