Taking power banks on domestic flighs.

Featured Replies

Maybe somebody nows the answer. 🙂

I'm traveling from Bangkok to phuket with AirAsia.

I have 2 Anker power banks off 99.8 Wh (27.650 mAh) with me.

Acording to airaisa this is ok as they are below 100 Wh. (they and other airlines only use 100 Wh as a limit without airline approval)

But on the Suvarnabhumi airport website it is mentioned that they only alow power banks below 100 Mh OR 20.000 mAh. (they think that 100 Wh is equeal to 20.000 mAh)

Does anybody know if they allow power banks below 100 Wh which is alos allowed by the airline ?
