Perhaps we should be looking at who has been doing the killing, certainly over the last 25 years or so.

A little hint, they weren't the Jews.

And I didn't say that they were but neither, in the UK at least, have jews been the target in terrorist incidents which is what seemed to implied by the comment that jews need to take extra precautions.

Maccabi fans are real nuts. Like berserks. Nothing to do with antisemitism, please!

That is the trouble, you can't make any criticism of Jewish people what so ever as they play the antisemitism card.

Exactly! There's nothing about old book "Maccabi rebellion". Its just a very agitated fans.

It's estimated there would be around 800 travelling Maccabi fans. Nothing like the number of away fans from certain English clubs with a reputation for having violent 'firms'. We don't see those fans banned every week do we.

You're either very naive or desperate to defend the indefensible.

This decision was purely political and ideological. It's a pro-Islam local authority sticking up for their fellow Muslims in Palestine.

It's sad to see the UK slowly slipping into sectarianism.

As a life long Tottenham supporter I’m not worried that this  ‘pro-Islam local authority’ is going to ban Spurs fans.

But then Spurs fans aren’t violently assaulting people and chanting abusive remarks regarding the slaughter of children in Gaza.

‘Defend the indefensible’ you say.

Yeh, righty-o.

So who is assaulting people and chanting abusive remarks regarding the slaughter of children in Gaza?

Never miss an opportunity to besmirch Jewish people.

So Maccabi have declined to accept tickets even if the travel ban is overturned.

Sensible.

Even for you Jonny that’s a rather bizarre allegation.

Nothing at all in the statement “But then Spurs fans aren’t violently assaulting people and chanting abusive remarks regarding the slaughter of children in Gaza.” besmirches anyone, Jewish or otherwise.

I'm sure that some of the Maccabi fans are no angels but the fact is that the most serious offenders in Amsterdam were not Israelis:

No, that's not the fact.

The fact is the locals could be prosecuted, the maccabi fans couldn't because they had left

Isn't there a history of banning fans from away matches for safety reasons?  Rangers and Celtic fans have been banned from Old Firm games before, and Galatasaray fans were banned from attending Elland Road after two Leeds fans were murdered in Istanbul.
