A foreign man was captured on CCTV stealing a liquor bottle from a restaurant in Patong, Phuket, on Sunday, October 19. The footage, shared by the Phuket Times on October 21, shows the suspect in black shorts and a red shirt with a black jacket, taking the bottle and hiding it inside his jacket before leaving. The theft occurred without any staff or customers present, and the value of the liquor was not disclosed.

Thai Woman Rescued During Assault Escape in Chachoengsao

A 26-year-old Thai woman, known only as Noi, narrowly escaped a life-threatening incident as police intervened just in time to save her from a rapist attempting to run her over in Chachoengsao province on October 20. The victim had sought assistance from Bang Pakong Police Station in the early morning after being lured into an isolated house and sexually assaulted. Responding promptly, officers discovered Noi fleeing from a silver Toyota Vios whose driver attempted to hit her, but escaped upon seeing the police.
