Ex-Aide Reveals Why Melania Will Never Leave Donald Trump

Melania Trump will “never leave” her husband, former President Donald Trump, despite years of scandal, humiliation, and criminal trials — because she has always known exactly who she married, according to her former press secretary, Stephanie Grisham.

Speaking to CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, Grisham — once one of Melania’s closest aides — said the former First Lady has long accepted Trump’s behavior and the baggage that comes with it. “She knew what she was getting into,” Grisham said. “She may have been concerned about how it affected his future image, but she wasn’t going anywhere.”

The remarks came just hours after Trump’s former fixer, Michael Cohen, testified in court about the hush-money scandal that nearly derailed Trump’s 2016 campaign. Cohen detailed payments allegedly made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to suppress claims of an affair — allegations Trump has repeatedly denied.

Trump was convicted of falsifying business records related to the payments but received an unconditional discharge, sparing him prison, fines, or probation — though he remains a convicted felon.

Cohen’s testimony also touched on Melania’s private reactions to the scandals, including a tense episode that reportedly led to a furious “three-word outburst” from Trump toward his wife, caught on camera during the proceedings.

Despite the public humiliation, Grisham insisted Melania’s loyalty is transactional and strategic, not romantic. “Could Melania be angry right now about all of this being out there? Absolutely,” she said. “But leave him? No. She knows the power of the Trump name — and what walking away would cost her.”

Melania has kept a low profile throughout her husband’s legal turmoil, skipping most court appearances and public events. Yet insiders say she remains quietly protective of her own brand and status within Trump’s inner circle — a position she has no intention of surrendering.

Key Takeaways:

  • Stephanie Grisham says Melania “knew what she was getting into” and won’t leave Trump.

  • Ex-aide claims Melania is angry but loyal for pragmatic reasons, not affection.

  • Follows Cohen’s testimony on Trump’s hush-money case and renewed marital scrutiny.

Pretty damning condemnation of her moral values.

She seems well suited to him.

My mother always said anyone who <deleted> for money earns every penny.

I still have no idea what she meant, but it has stuck with me

What's that say about Hillary?

Who would only be a moderately successful Arkansas attorney/real estate agent had she not married (and stood by) the monger.

Edit:  Though I'd add that Melania has the looks to have done better.  Hillary?  Not so much.

Hang on there. Hillary circa early 90s was cute as the dickens. I had a crush on her so I strenuously object to your comparison.

And Hillary was smart as a whip before she became, well, evil. Melania au contraire, while being delightfully bangable, you'll probably have to plug your ears to block out the before and after gibberish.

That's odd, East Europeans are normally well known for their above board moral ethical behaviour.

1) Money.

2) Trump's propensity for revenge. Both her and her parents are in the US under shall we say questionable circumstances; he is absolutely capable of engineering their expulsion. How he would present himself as the injured party I dont know but be sure he will find a way.

Melania is a clever lady.

Trump will never divorce her because the settlement would be massive.

She is probably encouraging him to bang as many porn stars as possible.

That way she never has to service him herself and is free to spend all his money.
