Police in Chanthaburi arrested a Cambodian worker after he allegedly attacked his female employer with a wooden club, leaving her with a severe head injury. The incident occurred in Village 3, Song Phinong subdistrict, Tha Mai district, in the early hours of 1 November 2025. The victim reportedly suffered a fractured skull and attempted to flee to safety inside her home, while the attacker tried to break down the door to continue the assault.

Officers from Thung Bencha Police Station received the emergency call at around 01:20 and rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the suspect pacing outside the house and quickly detained him without further resistance. The man was identified as Mr. Heng, a 46-year-old Cambodian national. Police seized a wooden baton believed to have been used in the attack, along with a locally made air gun.

Rescue workers provided first aid to the injured employer, who was found with a deep wound to the back of her head and heavy bleeding. She was taken to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment. Police said her condition was critical but stable at the time of transfer.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a dispute between the employer and worker may have led to the violent outburst, though the motive remains under investigation. Officers have detained the suspect for questioning and will charge him with assault causing serious injury and possession of an illegal firearm.

Authorities praised the rapid police response, which prevented further harm to the victim. Forensic teams have documented the scene and collected evidence, while local officials are working to ensure the safety of other workers in the area. The case has been forwarded to the Chanthaburi Provincial Police for further proceedings.
