UK Freezes Intel To US Over Trump’s ‘Drug’ Boat Strikes

Britain has suspended intelligence sharing with the United States over suspected drug-trafficking boats in the Caribbean, in what officials are calling the most serious break between the two allies in decades.

According to multiple sources who spoke to CNN, the UK pulled out of its joint operations after concluding that US military strikes on drug-smuggling vessels — which have killed at least 76 people since September — are unlawful under international law.

For years, British intelligence assets based in Caribbean territories have provided surveillance and targeting data to the US-led Joint Interagency Task Force South, allowing Coast Guard teams to intercept narcotics shipments. But after President Trump’s administration authorized the Pentagon to use lethal force against suspected cartel boats, the UK grew alarmed that its intelligence could be used to select targets for drone or missile attacks.

British officials now believe the strikes amount to “extrajudicial killings,” echoing UN human rights chief Volker Türk’s statement that the campaign violates international law.

Canada and Colombia have also distanced themselves from the US operation, with both nations insisting their intelligence must not be used for lethal strikes. Colombian President Gustavo Petro said his country’s cooperation will remain frozen “until the attacks in the Caribbean stop.”

The Trump administration maintains that the strikes comply fully with the Law of Armed Conflict, citing classified legal opinions that define cartel operatives as “enemy combatants.” But several US military lawyers — and even the commander of US Southern Command, Adm. Alvin Holsey — have questioned the legality of the campaign. Holsey reportedly offered to resign over the issue.

Key Takeaways:

  • UK suspends Caribbean intel sharing, citing “illegal” US strikes.

  • At least 76 people killed; UN calls attacks “extrajudicial killings.”

  • Canada and Colombia also distancing from Trump’s lethal campaign.

1st the Chagos surrender, then the UK state propaganda ginning up a false narrative that DJT incited an insurrection that brainwashed the left worldwide, now the UK going all in to protect drug smugglers. Time to invade the UK perhaps? Unless sir Tommy becomes PM and saves the country.

Should i stand back and allow Trolls to spread filthy lies about my country?

There is good reason why 'drugs' in in apostrophe. Because no one who has even a modicum of intelligence, believes this has anything to do with drugs. It's just a cover.

When you follow what Marco Rubio and Mike Pompei were doing in South America, you might get a clue as to what this is all about. Follow the money.

They aren't the good guys. They rig elections to get the result that they want.
