again talking BS     Some embassy's require   criminal record checks  but it is not a hard and fast rule depends where you go    never mentioned arrival card

were you referring to long abolished  TM 6 ?  which was required to be completed by all foreigners entering,  regardless of the type of visa one held

think you need to read up on immigration in thailand 

 all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online, starting from May 1, 2025. only the paper copy has been abolished you still need to fill out an arrival card (online now) 

 

visa exemption is not arrival card  again you are full of BS from a convicted felon no less

              I commented  that none of my  criminal convictions have had any bearing on my life here and in the same post I stated that I doubted any "farang" would attempt to enter Thai politics. I did not feel the need to explain that foreigners are excluded from such activities firstly because its common knowledge and secondly because I suspected some smart a$$ pedant would soon take it upon themselves to "enlighten" us all,    and you didn't disappoint in that respect

            My comment was not even meant for you , it was a reply to another member, however as this is a public forum I fully understand your entitlement to  comment on my reply. 

            What I fail to understand is why your opening line  was  "Talking a load of BS" as nothing in my reply ( to the other member) was in any way untrue or incorrect
