Three motorcycle thieves were apprehended in Kidapawan City after attempting to sell the stolen bike back to its owner. The owner discovered his motorcycle listed on Facebook Marketplace, leading him to collaborate with local police for an entrapment operation.

The motorcycle was initially stolen on September 1, 2025. The victim, upon spotting his motorcycle on the online platform, swiftly coordinated with law enforcement. An agreement was set up to meet on November 16 at 10:00 AM, aligning with the police's entrapment strategy.

Authorities successfully detained the three suspects, the youngest being 24 years old and the eldest 26. In response to the incident, police issued a reminder to the public regarding the risks of purchasing secondhand vehicles and encouraged immediate reporting of suspicious activities.

The suspects are now in police custody and face appropriate charges. This event highlights the effective collaboration between citizens and law enforcement in addressing crime, reported Balita.
