The timeline and statements regarding this are interesting, and often quite contradictory. It will be interesting to see how Trump's Admin spins this.

 

During the campaign Trump claimed he would release the files. Once elected, he changed his tune and began calling it "The Dem Hoax".

 

On one occasion, a presser took place where AG Bondi and others held up what were purported to be "the files", The binders were actually empty, but the White House or DoJ had printed covers that said "Epstein" Six or seven officials held up empty binders.

 

After claiming she had the files and client list on her desk, AG Bondi said there was no client list.

 

Bondi wrote a memo where she said since there was no client list, there was nothing further to investigate. Case closed.

 

Trump told her to go after Clinton, so now she might have to tear up the memo she put in the DoJ record about "nothing further to investigate, case closed".

 

Speaker Johnson said when the discharge petition was coming up, "The discharge petition is not only reckless, it's a totally moot point". Well, not this week, Mikey.

 

As part of the approved “Epstein Files Transparency Act”, also released will be “Immunity deals, non-prosecution agreements, plea bargains, or sealed documents”, plus “internal DOJ communications, plus communications related to Epstein, his associaates, his detention and death, plus documentation of Epstein’s detention or death including medical examiner files, autopsy reports and the total interview with Ghislaine Maxwell and the paperwork and reasoning that resulted in her getting moved to a country club prison....everything.

 

If anyone tries to hide any document or memo, they will be in contempt of Congress and subject to prosecution.

I see the funny side of your post. Reading the Epstein Transparency Act that just got overwhelmingly passed by the House and most likely passed by senate, there are safeguards in the Act to prohibit the DOF to over extend their authority. There is a limited scope for Bondi to perform any types of Mens Rea for his boss. The Act only permits withhold of certain information of victims & materials that would jeopardize an active federal investigation. Doubt she is investigating her boss.

Totally legit and known fact that Epstein donated to numerous Democratic campaigns and even committees over several decades. He also contributed to Republican candidates and groups. Both legitimate. Wkat's your point Sir?

Some files will not be released due to "pending litigation".

 

I don't think we'll get much from the DoJ. At least not this administration's DoJ. The fix is in, at least for now.

The redactions and cover up are expected and most probably anticipated by the House. They will not depend on the Epstein files to push ahead with their investigation. The House Oversight committee are demanding Epstein financial records from JP Morgan, Deutsche and US Virgin Islands. They may even subpoena FBI officers who were directly involved in the day-to-day work of investigating and writing the reports. Also likely target for investigation will be the Epstein estate that have files and documents of interest. Many other avenues to push the investigation which will meant politican as well as criminal danger for Trump. 

It shouldn't be too hard to detect if they're playing games.

Then assuming they will be and it's detected. then things may get really interested.

Yes, and this possibly goes beyond Epstein's Pleasure Island and the Lolita Express scandal and into areas involving where someone got their funding for various projects and which other country's intelligence service know about it. But I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist.

Odd how this dropped out of the news after the signuture was checked. If this is all you've got it's not much. Why didn't you say "it's a lie" about Clinton's 26 times on Epsteins jet. Got anything to say about that and all the other Democrat links to Epstein? Release everything and let's see. The Dems have opened a pandora's box and my guess is there will be many fingers pointing at them.
