My wife and I have a 1 year retirement visa issued by the Phuket Immigration.

This time we asked for 1 re-entry permit and we paid 1000 baht for each passport.

In September we have to renew our 1 year retirement visa and we would like to know the exact rules which manage the fees of the re-entry permit for 1, 2 or 3 entries and a mutiple entry. I know that normally it is 1000 baht for 1 entry and 3000 baht for a multiple entry. But in the same time I have been told by a German gail that for 3 entries normally the price is also 1000 baht.

Do you know something about the exact rules?

Correct, so if you travel four (4) times out of Thailand you save baht 200 if you get a multiple re-entry permit at the start for baht 3,800.

If they would issue they would cost 1,000 baht each - but I seriously doubt they would do so leaving the only option to buy new permits after use of each one or a multi entry at 3,800 baht.
