November 26, 2025Nov 26 TM30/residence proof, etc. But perhaps it would be better if you started by describing what you are extending?

But as you have an office asking for a medical certificate it's probably safer to assume nothing has changed and go and find out.

Immigration offices vary on requirements. Proof of residence is standard. As is banking requirements. Find your thread providing zero details. 1 hour ago, jwest10 said: Not either Jomtien/Pattaya Then helpful poster asks which immigration office and you continue with guessing games. I'm only aware of one office that requires medical certificate. Provide details or simply don't start thread for assistance

December 3, 2025Dec 3 At CW never been asked for a doctor's certificate, nor one yearsworth of bank statements, nor proof of residence when applying for a retirement extension.

This could be misleading. Regards medical certificate. This is not required. Think only Samui have this. Bank statements can be required if using income method or when there are months with zero transactions. For money in bank method bank book photocopies might be accepted. For proof of address, generally something is required. I provide lease and recent TM30. Even a TM47 might be sufficient. Also CW require a hand drawn map Note Bank Statements and Bank Letter can be obtained days prior to application.
December 4, 2025Dec 4 My regrets if I have misled others. I was merely repeating my own experience at CW.
December 5, 2025Dec 5 My situation was exactly the same as last year, but in addion to residency letter, lease, form and copied pages was also asked to provide. 1 - 12 month bank statement 2 - condo owners chanote 3 - condo owners passport page Definitely more strict at jomtien this year, but eventually got it it OK. No agent involved as per prior year

Perhaps DrJack54 can answer this .. I will be applying for my second extension of stay renewal (Retirement visa) at CW. It expires Jan 08. I was late booking an appointment so could only get Jan 06. Is that ok? Just want to make sure I am not required to apply two weeks before it expires? Thanks!
