December 1, 2025Dec 1 Just want to know if it could be possible to apply for a second ED visa. I've had the first one on 2020
December 2, 2025Dec 2 Yes, it's possible to get new ones each year for maybe 2-3 years. After that your chances of getting approved for an informal school go down. If you're at a university, there's no problem having multiple years of ED. Have you looked into the DTV?

It's not with a university. I'll use a visa agency. It's learning Thai language with a group class. DTV is also on my mind. It would be possible to obtain a second ED visa in this case? What do you think?

December 2, 2025Dec 2 DTV is going to be a better option as ED visa in your passport is a mark against you, since it's the most abused visa type. And DTV means you don't have to worry again for 5 years, whereas with ED you need to get an extension every 90 days.
