I remember the good old days, it didn't matter what time it was. You could buy at Big C, Tesco etc. you just had to buy your alcohol in quantity.

This morning I went to my 2 local 7/11 to see if they had implemented this update ...they had not   I talked to the staff and they mostly had no clue...this after 5pm noon  I went back to the closest 7/11  low and behold an order from above had arrived  with updated  posters on the cold room doors   the 2-pm to 5pm restrictions  are gone

I don't care about drinking late (as an old fart) but being able to decide and buy a few beers mid afternoon is all I need in life.... well, a big chunk of what I need!

Yes. - I bought some wine at Tops in Kanchanaburi at 3pm today.

The midnight ban will piss off more foreigners visiting!  Most people who go out to party are just getting going at midnight!  That will change too watch!

Isn't this what life is really about?  Most adults manage their lives just fine without the moral majority and big daddy government nudging and shoving them in one direction or another.  I'm amazed that the Thai populace tolerates a government that infantilizes them. 

It only affects 7/11  really and the bars will open earlier.But the village shops bar are ok.The doors will not be closed now in the afternoon
