December 3, 2025Dec 3 Dear Folks, I have decided to buy this Ryzen CPU. But, after I do, then what shall I do? Not only what might I do with my older computers, but, how can Ryzen help me, today, and in the future? This Ryzen is a cheap CPU, as we all know. I must admit that the reason I have decided to buy this CPU is due, in part, to the unbiased influence provided by Gemini, since I intend to use this CPU mostly for Google Meet conferencing. Here are a few snippets which Gemini has tossed to me, at my request: I will be buying one of these CPUs, very soon. Also, as we all know, now too well.... AMD is the land of the Rising Sun...... But, Intel, these days......? Intel once was a beast, but no more. AMD is now the true beast, but no one knows for how much longer. And, The Animals will be the beasts, FOREVER..... Note: The Ryzen Sun is still arizing......
December 4, 2025Dec 4 Author This CPU seems to be almost 18 months old. Therefore, any ideas of a CPU which offers better performance at half the cost?
December 4, 2025Dec 4 After you see the cost of 32GB of DDR5 Ram you may have 2'nd thoughts. *you will not find a Ryzen 7-8700G CPU for much less, even here in the USA. I still suggest a discrete video card, they can do AV1 decoding. A PCI-E v3 card with 4~6GB of VRAM is what you need for now. Yes they can handle at least 2 vid outputs, some 3. Some of those can be powered from the slot, others have a molex connector for PSU. But do check your PSU to see if can handle the xtra watts. Best of luck -Howto
