Minister Suphajee Suthumpun spearheaded the 'Thai Food Village' initiative at the Saudi Feast Food Festival 2025, promoting Thai cuisine in the Middle East. The event, held at King Saud University, Riyadh, marked Thailand as the Guest of Honour and featured popular Thai dishes such as Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai.

 

Accompanied by Vuttikrai Leewiraphan and other officials, Minister Suphajee highlighted Thailand's diverse food offerings, drawing significant interest from Saudi visitors. This festival, organized by the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission, represents a promising opportunity for Thai food products in the region's expanding market.

 

Thailand's participation included meetings with Thai entrepreneurs addressing business challenges in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Commerce expressed its commitment to supporting Thai businesses in overcoming obstacles to enhance competitiveness.

 

CEO Mayada Badr welcomed the Thai delegation, showcasing the importance of Thai cuisine in the Saudi market. The event, running from November 26 to December 6, served as a crucial platform for networking and demonstrated the growing demand for Thai food in Saudi Arabia, indicating positive prospects for future exports, reported The Nation.
