How To Get... W, E, P Icons On Taskbar Tray Of My Notebook

Featured Replies

I had these icons on the bottom taskbar but I just did a total reset of my ACER Swift 3 Windows 11 notebook and the W, E, P Icons (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) icons have disappeared.

During the reset the system offered a 6 months M'soft 365 School membership for 69Baht. I took it.

I need to create documents regularly for Thai uni teaching materials so I need quick access to these 3 M'soft items.

Can a member please advise me how to do that. Thanks and much appreciated.

I don't have 11 but should not be too different to 10.......(probably famous last words......)

Do you have a windows logo bottom left which if you left click on shows you all your programs? If yes you should be able to right click on the relevant programme and in the commands should be create shortcut and or pin to taskbar. You may have to create the shortcut first.

Read this link -

Open the program, then right click on the icon (in the taskbar) and pin it to the taskbar.

Edit:  You can also slide the icons around and put them in your preferred order by holding down on a left click.

Thanks. You say 'open the program', what program do you mean?

Whatever program you want in your taskbar.  In your case, that's Word, Excel and PP.

The icon will show up on the taskbar and you can pin it there with a right click and selecting "Pin to taskbar".
