A Chinese national has been accused of stealing a bag belonging to a Thai woman at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport on December 16. The incident, shared by Thai entrepreneur Big on TikTok, occurred while his team was waiting to board a flight to China. The alleged theft has led to the suspect's arrest.

The victim, a female employee of Big's herbal hair products company, Chaaba, left her bag with other luggage while seated near Entrance 9 of the airport's main terminal. When she returned, her bag was missing, raising suspicions about a nearby Chinese national who was also no longer present. Big immediately contacted airport security and police.

CCTV footage reportedly captured the suspect picking up the woman's bag and leaving. The man was later apprehended at a check-in queue but did not apologize and allegedly caused a scene. The victim filed an official complaint, and Big intends to pursue the case, though it’s unclear if the bag was recovered.

This occurrence follows a similar case in November, where a French national was arrested for thefts at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok. The man used a strategy of blending in with passengers to steal bags, escaping via train, as seen in CCTV footage, reported The Thaiger.
