Andrew ‘Borrowed £12m From Queen, Philip And Charles, Has Not Repaid A Penny’

Prince Andrew (now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) was reportedly handed £12 million by senior members of the Royal Family to settle his US civil sex case — and has yet to repay any of it.

The disgraced former Duke of York is said to have received £7 million from the late Queen Elizabeth II, £3 million from Prince Philip’s estate and £1.5 million from then-Prince Charles in 2022 to fund a settlement with Virginia Giuffre.

Ms Giuffre alleged she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times, including when she was 17 — claims he has always vehemently denied. Despite previously saying he had “no recollection” of ever meeting her, Andrew agreed to an out-of-court settlement reportedly worth millions.

Sources now claim the money came directly from family coffers — and has never been repaid.

“Andrew’s not paid back a penny,” one source told The Sun. “As far as anyone knows, he still has not repaid a single penny of the millions he borrowed.”

The settlement was widely seen as an attempt to draw a line under the scandal before the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Instead, controversy has continued to dog the prince.

The latest tranche of Epstein-related documents released by the US Department of Justice has intensified scrutiny. Thames Valley Police confirmed this week that officers have consulted with the Crown Prosecution Service over allegations Andrew shared confidential trade envoy material with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Police say no decision has yet been made on whether a criminal investigation will be launched.

Andrew was stripped of his royal duties and military titles in 2022. Last year, King Charles removed his remaining public royal status, effectively reducing him to private citizen Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Buckingham Palace has said it will “stand ready to support” police if required.

I borrowed about $100 from my mother. I eventually I paid it back I think 30 years later. She never actually asked for it.

Have any of Andrews family asked for it back. It's just money and just family. The "Sources" probably don't understand that.

The Royal family have massive wealth so they wont be broke

So many properties

The British Royal Family, through the Crown Estate, holds rights to almost all of the seabed around England, Wales, and Northern Ireland

. While primarily generating revenue from offshore wind and renewable energy projects rather than deep-sea mineral mining, the seabed portfolio has become a massive, rapidly expanding source of wealth, with the marine portfolio valued at £3.4 billion to £5 billion as of 2022-2025.

And might she even have been the driving force behind it? After all, Mountbatten-Windsor was, supposedly, her favourite son.

Much of the OP is somewhat behind the times , mind you of course it is the Express!

The titles, honours and military appointments are gone. Mountbatten Windsor is out of Royal Lodge.

As for the whole matter of investigation, prosecutions and punishment, yes we should move; but we are very much in the rear coach of this train. The bulk of the scandals took place in the USA, the laws broken were for the most part US laws, the major players were absolutely at the very top of the US establishment., and that is where the really egregious cover up is going on.
