The fact is the money Israel paid into Gaza freed up money Hamas would have had to spend.. And the reason Israel allowed that money into Gaza was to prop up Hamas against the PA.

The plan isn't perfect? How about it's grandiose. Starting with the fact that the Board of Peace, over which Trump has pretty much dictatorial powers, would be the funding agency. How many ballrooms does Gaza need?

What you also fail to note is the the transient governing authority is supposed to be operating under the aegis of the PA. Netanyahu has specifically said that the PA is to have no future in Gaza. He's also opposed to the Board of Peace. Not because there's a dictatorial loon in charge, but rather because Qatar and Turkey are members.

No. That is not how the money flow into Gaza works. You can't have it both ways. Israel was obliged to allow the funds into Gaza because it was deemed humanitarian related. Had Israel blocked the funds you would be calling it evil all the same. In case you missed it, France has cracked down on the Hamas financiers and several are now shut down. Did you miss the fact that Khaled Al Shouli, a Jordanian lawyer based in France and one of three individuals leading the International Criminal Court case against Israel has had his assets frozen and is facing charges in France for allegedly using humanitarian aid to fund Hamas and money laundering. This is how pervasive the bias and corruption is. You are very good at blaming Israel for the corruption of Hamas.

Where does the rebuilding plan for Gaza mention ballrooms? Have you even read the plan? Aside from it being rather boring, it is quite detailed in the detailing of water systems and public sanitation.

Netanyahu has little say in blocking the progress of the Trump initiated plan. If he gets in the way he will be pushed aside. He does however have a legitimate right to ensure that the funds and construction materials are used for what they are supposed to be used for.

So the money that was obligated to be sent into Gaza was sent in secret? That is to laugh.

As for Netanyahu having little say, the Israelis are masterful at coming up with excuses for obstruction.

The "Talibangicals" in the US, who call themselves "Christian Nationalists" are just jihadis in slacks and baseball caps, rather than thobes and ghutras.

The "love" Jesus but hate what he taught. They cry for the abortion of a zygote, but call the deaths of innocents unavoidable "collateral damage".

They don't seem even to have read the book they claim to worship, as abortion is noted in the Old Testament, with Moses even giving instructions on how to perform it (Leviticus). Not once did Jesus ever mention abortion.

What Jesus did say, in Matthew 25, was practice humility, feed the poor, welcome the stranger, and care for prisoners. "Nations and individuals will be judged on how they follow these teachings".

If the Bible is the word of some deity, the US under Trump is well and truly effed.

You threw up a list of alleged wrongdoings by the USA, and now proclaim that that the USA is the most prolific in its use of bombs. There is no context. Presenting the use of bombs against Japan in 1945 or in the liberation of Korea in the 1950's as indicative of a negative intent is offensive. Had it not been for those US bombs, the people of South Korea would not have bene liberated from the oppression of the Chinese. The Japanese campaign of brutality would not have been pushed back in SE Asia. And as bad as the Vietnam war was, you have benefited. You would not be enjoying fun in the sun in Thailand, because Thailand most certainly would have fallen to the Chinese backed communist insurgents.

Get it right, please. I said nothing about wrongdoing. I posted a list of countries America had bombed since 1945, with the comment about America being regarded as the Great Satan.

You are wrong about the communist insurgency in Thailand. Bombs did not defeat it, the Thais themselves did by clever diplomacy and internal policy shifts.

Mojtaba Khamenei has amassed international investments, amid widespread economic hardship in Iran

On a tree-lined street in north London, known as “Billionaire’s Row”, a clutch of mostly empty mansions sits behind tall hedges and blacked-out gates. As school children wander by, private guards in dark SUVs patrol outside.

Behind the facades of these luxury homes on The Bishops Avenue lies a network stretching from Tehran to Dubai and Frankfurt.

The ultimate ownership traces back, through layers of shell companies, to one of the most powerful men in the Middle East: Mojtaba Khamenei, the second-eldest son of Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Even arch conservative senator Ted Cruz has admitted that Iran was not close to having nuclear weapons.

That’s what they said about North Korea for years. Besides, not close (your words) shows they were pursuing one.

Anyway, taking out a nutcase who slaughters his own people for not wanting to wear a head scarf can’t be a bad thing, or do you support that kind of thing?

The Guardian does have an overt bias on multiple issues, just as Sky News, Fox, China News, Press TV, News Max et al have bias.

Your verbal gymnastics and convoluted argument intended to blame Israel for the funding of Hamas is what is laughable nothing else. The money transfers from Israel to Gaza were not secret and were transparent. They had to be, because they were for the payment of salaries of "government workers" and for humanitarian purposes. The transfers were done under the supervision of the EU and UN.

Money also entered Gaza from Egypt at Rafah. You know, the big Arab country that borders Gaza. The money entered by transfers, by courier and by smuggler.

The Guardian is reporting on a report from elsewhere. The Guardian didn't write the story, and they are not the only one reporting on it. The Baptist Standard wrote an opnion piece about the reports. You could hardly accuse them of being "atheists".

https://baptiststandard.com/opinion/editorials/editorial-examining-this-talk-of-armageddon/

Another religious tome also reported

https://baptistnews.com/article/us-military-personnel-object-to-armageddon-talk/

And others

https://premierchristian.news/en/news/article/us-troops-told-war-on-iran-is-part-of-god-s-divine-plan-alleges-religious-watchdog

The report originated from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation

https://www.militaryreligiousfreedom.org/

The founder of this Foundation is a former US Army officer, and a Jew.

Do you even understand the plain meaning of English words? 'Not close' does not mean they were pursuing one. It simply means they were not close. Various US intelligence assessments have concluded that the Iranians were not developing nuclear weapons.

Here are the actual words of Tulsi Gabbard, Director of US National Intelligence.

DNI Gabbard Opening Statement as Delivered to the HPSCI on the 2025 Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community

The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme leader Khomeini has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003.

The other part of your post is a total straw man argument - arguing that the other person has said something that they never actually said.

Seems to be you struggling with English language, not close means they haven't got one yet. Not close does not mean they have no intention, or no intention would have been the words they use.

Tulsi Gabbard said they could produce a nuclear bomb. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c056zqn6vvyo

And lastly, dont you think it was right to kill a man who continues to slaughter his own people, or did you support his mass murder?

Tiny Petie is gloating over the deaths of men who were attacked In cold blood, ones who had nothing to do with the battle at hand. It really shows you who he is, and who he represents.

Hillary Clinton was a little bit early in her pronouncement of who the deplorables truly are.
