Mozikillah Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 (edited) Thx guys.. Still kinda new to the DSLR world.. Testing my new Watermark.. What do you think of the watermark?? Edited August 23, 2007 by Mozikillah
tigerbeer Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 this is the kind of pictures that are extremely hard to do on a point and shoot! proper aperture priority settings and deep dynamic range picture taking only happens with a dslr. good shots thank you.
tigerbeer Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 the fly picture. did you take it at full zoom? at aperture 5.6 stops
Tony Clifton Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 What watermark? Seriously, where you placed it, it can easily be cropped or photoshopped...
Mozikillah Posted September 2, 2007 Author Posted September 2, 2007 the fly picture. did you take it at full zoom? at aperture 5.6 stops Yep.. F/5.6 300mm ISO 400

tigerbeer Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 What watermark? Seriously, where you placed it, it can easily be cropped or photoshopped... only tax-sin or toxin could have figured that out

Mozikillah Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 Nikon D40x with a 24-120mm Nikkor VR lens.. Simple equipment really, im just learning along and having fun with my camera.. Soon i will be heading for the 'big daddy', the Nikon D300 Soon as in next year tho, shall wait for a price drop first..
PadThaiGuy Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Your shots are improving. I like the last one with the shallow Depth of field. Here is a handy DoF calculator that I find helpfull to determine what will be in focus. http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html

astral Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Were the Loy Krathong photos hand held? Very good. The exif shows 1/40th sec F5.6 (the maximum?) 95mm and Manual Exposure.......... Any reason why you did not trust the metering?

Any reason why you did not trust the metering? I dont like any pics that goes down below 1/20th sec Yes, handheld.. But the lens technology had VR on it, so that helped alot... F5.6 is the maximum with the 24-120mm Nikkor VR lens
