No missions against Iran were lauched from Oman or Qatar. Please provide theinformation to support your claim. When did the USA launch from Turkiye or Azerbaijan. The Gulf nations have only allowed defensive missions not attacks. Back up your claim.

Please provide a source. I will gladly accept a correction, but reading something on facebook or tiktok isn't a credible source.

The same Trump that just got finished saying he doesn’t need the UK’s help. The only sensible response is, you broke it, you own it.

I'm so sorry guys, but as usual I grossly overestimated our capabilities, and now I'm coming to you with my hands out, asking for assistance. I know that I didn't consult you on this war, I know I've been insulting and humiliating you guys for 14 months now and laying waste to our alliances, I know that I did not try to build a coalition, and I know that I did not ask either the Congress or the Senate for permission, and the vast majority of the American people do not agree with this war and do not approve of this war, and I know you guys probably feel the same way. I am a highly ignorant man, I'm not sure what else I can say. I know I always pretend to know everything but as you all know that is the polar opposite of the truth.

Please, can you help us now? We're getting our asses kicked, the Iranians have caught us flat footed, I don't know why I listen to the ignoramus Natanyahu to begin with, but we really need some help, please, pretty please.

Trump may be refraining from destroying the oil facilities at Kharg island to use it as a bargaining chip to open the Strait, but if he did destroy it it will damage the West by increasing the oil price further.

Has anyone noticed how far the US keeps its aircraft carriers from Iran? I wonder why?

The Iranian oil was mostly going to China and other Asian countries. West was sourcing mostly from Arab Gulf countries.

In your excitement to push your fabricated claim, you offered another imagined false claim of false flag operations from Israel. Israel did not lauch the ballistic missiles from Iran. the missiles were tracked.

Oman did not attack Iran. It did not permit bombing sorties from its base.

Qatar did not attack Iran . It did not permit bombing sorties from its base.

Turkiye and Azerbaijan had no involvement, yet were attacked.

The UAE did not attack Iran and expressly and publicly forbade any US activity on its soil.

Iraq did not allow air sorties from the US airbase in Iraq and was attacked by Iran.

Of course Iran is attacking US bases in those countries. Remember the US, lead by Israel so your defence of the US is really a proxy, bombed and is still bombing the <deleted> out of them.

Oil prices will still increase, as the post you responded to claims.

Yes there will be price increases, but if there is a desire it can be managed. The oil crisis is more a manipulation than an actual shortage. A reduction in supplies by less than 20% should not have this kind of impact. Energy producers like Russia, USA, Canada, Nigeria, Norway et al are going to be reaping windfall profits.

Trump says the United States may carry out more strikes on Iran's Kharg Island, saying that while Iran appears ready to make a deal to end the conflict, "the terms aren’t good enough yet."

He said the US strikes had "totally demolished" most of Kharg Island, telling NBC News that "we may hit it a few more times just for fun".

The man is out of his mind. Any other democracy would have impeached him long ago.

Any warship that sails into the Straits of Hormuz must be able to intercept ALL of the drones and missiles that the Iranians shoot at it. So, the US has to have 100% accuracy in interception, but the Iranians only have to hit a US ship once to send it back to the US for repairs.

That is why the US Navy is staying out of the Straits of Hormuz and is not offering escort services to tanker convoys!

I'm sure that USN analysts predicted this, but Trump and Hegseth were too busy bloviating to listen.

Russia, a brutal regime will reap benefits, just great.

Gas prices will increase too, plus one third of the world's fertilizer passes through the Strait.

A subsequent loss of food production could mean starvation in poor countries and higher food prices worldwide.

Inflation worldwide, damaging all countries.

Yes but apparently the Iranians are letting Chinese-flagged ships through, so the Chinese should be ok.

Incidentally, that's why I am skeptical about the Iranians mining the straight. If they want to let some ships through they can't be doing that.

Maybe the type of mines used can be remotely deactivated? That and knowing the placement which can be varied?

Another risk to any ship that tries to risk running the blockade is the use of underwater drones.

What other Nation will volunteer their Navy to be test dummies for Trump's illegitimate war?

China gets alot of oil from the region. If it wants it it will have to go and get it.

It already is going and getting it. Chinese ships are being allowed by Iran to pass through the straits.

The Iranian oil still is going to China.

Iran isn't just attacking us bases. It's also going after oil and gas infrastructure. Given that Iran faces an existential threat, it's going to pull out all stops.

It won't hit home until a sleeper cell takes out members of his family, or trashes Mar a Lago, then he might realize this isn't a video game and lives are being destroyed, but since they're only American soldiers and Iranians, they don't really count.

Correct. China has been a long-term ally of Iran, and they tend to favor their friends over their enemies.

Don Jr, Eric and the useless daughter would be perfect. After all why not show some commitment by volunteering members of one's own family? People might actually consider Trump sincere at that point.

Of course the dimwit sons would have to work pampers the whole time, but I'm sure the Pentagon has a supply of those.

Trump has been a wet dream for both Xi and Putin, and there's no question that both nations are enjoying the waste, the loss of American lives, and the sloppiness with which this war is being carried out. Trump is a pig.

Trump asserted that the US had “already destroyed 100% of Iran’s Military capability,” while conceding in the same breath that Tehran could still “send a drone or two, drop a mine, or deliver a close range missile” along the waterway.

He pledged that in the meantime, the US would be “bombing the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water,” promising to get the strait “OPEN, SAFE, and FREE.”

A question for the intellectually deficient dingbat. If Iran's armed forces are 100% decapitated, why is there an ongoing conflict and why is the Strait still closed? Huh?

In response, Alireza Tangsiri, the navy chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said, “The Strait of Hormuz has not yet been militarily closed and is merely under control.”

In a post on X, he hit back against Trump’s comments, saying, “Americans falsely claimed the destruction of Iran’s navy. Then they falsely claimed the escorting of oil tankers. Now they’re even asking others for backup forces.”

Andreas Krieg, a Middle East security expert at King’s College London’s School of Security Studies, told Al Jazeera that Trump’s call for a coalition appeared to mask the absence of a broader plan to address the strait’s closure.

“It doesn’t seem like they had a plan for the Strait of Hormuz to be closed, and it seems like a desperate move in an information campaign to calm markets and that something magical will happen to open the straits short of actually engaging with the Iranian regime,” he said.

Krieg said there was no quick military solution to reopening the strait, as all Iran needed to do was strike occasionally to keep insurers away.

Sending naval vessels without a diplomatic agreement, he said, would only expose “very, very expensive military vessels to very cheap but potentially very effective projectiles”.

If anybody asks themselves why the straight of Hormuz is not under US control yet, they simply have to look as far as the SEC DEF.

Apparently he's a little bit too preoccupied with blowing public funds on king crab, rib eye, and lobster tail to be paying attention to this war. But then again he was a very minor News host prior to this so he's probably never enjoyed having access to this kind of cash. The Trump cabinet corruption continues unabated.

One has to wonder how much king crab can be purchased for $2 million? Just ask Petie.

What happened to Trump's claim that the U.S. has the greatest military in the world? Unfortunately, he is degrading it with his lack of foresight and interference in the command structure.

Just like Stalin, just like Hitler, (though he has the nous of neither and is actually more comparable to Mussolini) Trump dumped his seasoned, capable and highly intelligent veterans who were also endowed with moral spines. He replaced them with his yes 'men' and sycophants who won't argue because he's a) too thin skinned to take criticism, b) too dumb to learn from it, and c) too much of a coward to deal with real soldiers.

So he got his '''German generals''. And his 'Defence' Secretary is his Keitel. A pathetic, dry drunk popinjay sycophant who despite his front line service in Afghan impresses noone, least of all his own soldiers. A very small man regardless of his physique.

Noone should be sending ships or supporting this calumny in any way. It's time for the world to grow a spine and tell the US and Israel to back off - and not just in Iran.

That is the real problem of which Trump is merely a symptom.

Without consulting the Europeans, Trump lifted the sanctions on buying Russian oil, which everybody knows means more money for Russia to build missiles, drones, etc to attack Ukraine.

And then suddenly he pleads with us to help him solve the Strait's dilemma.

Trump's only hope is to send the marines to secure Kharg island and thus control Iran's oil, but who knows? They could be under drone attack 24/7.
