Doctor Tracks Missing Cash After Domestic Flight Theft

A Thai doctor recovered 200,000 baht after reporting a theft during a domestic flight from Udon Thani to Bangkok. He said he had stored his bag in the overhead compartment before noticing suspicious behaviour from another passenger during the short journey. According to his account, a Chinese passenger repeatedly walked toward the restroom, which raised concern. Once the plane landed, the doctor realised the cash was gone and alerted airport staff while following the suspect through the terminal. Officials were able to stop and detain the suspect before he left the airport, turning the case into a warning about storing valuables overhead.
