He might put an application in if Iran's people get democracy and a good new leader. The Strait opens and everyone benefits, and no one else that's innocent dies.

I seem to remember Trump threatened to target Iran's power grid. Civilian infrastructure.

That's a war crime.

A few here, you included, have no idea what the US is capable of, and what they have remaining. Iran's military is being decimated. They have no Air Force, Navy and what they do have is being targeted

Let’s just be real about this. The U.S. can smash things from a distance all day long. Precision strikes, assassinations, blowing up infrastructure, no problem. But that’s not the same as winning a co

I'm not sure the WSF is misreporting the deployment of the AH-64s, which hitherto have been used over Iraq, not the Gulf, to shoot down drones. Difficult to say, because yet again, you are posting pa

Did you read what he wrote? I just pointed out what the OP's topic was, not that it couldn't be sidetracked, as I mentioned and what usually happens.

If it's done it would be, seeing it'll affect civilians, just as Cambodia did here.

You think the Nobel committee is going to be handing out Peace Prizes to war criminals?

Probably not, but if the war ends with Iran's people free, many terrorists dead, and the oil trade returning, he'll certainly think so.

We aren't trying to make others Americans but give them a better way of life, which is one reason why America gets involved in foreign affairs, along with helping the trade between. Thinking also you know all of what's going on is naive, as you don't. You have to hear all of it from many sources before you make up your mind unbiased, which a lot here are, hating Trump and disliking America itself. Think outside the box.

Is that what Donald Trump campaigned on when he ran for his second term? Bringing a better life to citizens of other countries with an assist from the US military?

Sounds more like a campaign platform for George W Bush.

No matter how strange he is, he does love America. He wanted to be God, as he was already a billionaire, and he knows whatever he does that's on a grand scale has him looking like a god, at least in his mind.

There is nothing strange about a narcissistic sociopath. The number of boxes Trump ticks in that form of neurodivergence is staggering, even down to being teetotal and having no pets.

Narcissists only love themselves.

The saddest thing about Trump's life is he is going to miss the worldwide ecstatic celebrations when he croaks for the last time and hopefully soon.

Looking good in what mind??

Thank you for your declaration of faith. This is a guy who donated charitable funds to himself. Who lied when claimed he donated a million dollars to the 9/11 fund. Anyway what does your declaration of faith have to do with doing a u-turn on a major promise he made during both his presidential campaign? One that many of his supporters here repeatedly cited as a big difference between him and other recent Presidents?

They actually don't have self love, never having experienced love as children. They are very insecure and lash out at people in anger, having to hurt others as others have hurt them growing up at home. A need for constant validation, like he does, deflecting blame when it's pointed at him. The boasting is covering up his self loathing, his parents likely rarely ever showing any real affection.

There is no real cure, and will hurt anyone that gets close, usually picking on good people who try to love them. Much like the actions of a few trolls here, who will try and enlist others in their game, although those others will also eventually be victims as they have no real friends. The covert is the worst, acting loving and innocent in the beginning, especially to others as a facade, until they have you secured, then turn against you, becoming the real them, but the malignant like Trump does it openly, and with his money, gets away with a lot until he has real evidence against him.

According to Greek legend, Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection after gazing into a pool. You are suggesting the term is a misnomer.

It is on record Trump was emotionally abused by his father, who repeatedly called him dumb. That's where the "stable genius" claim came from.

Trump's appeal to the poor and ignorant lies in telling them what he knows they want to hear. That's where his true genius is evident, despite being malignant.

What other billionaire do you know that can have followers donating money, and buying bibles?

And how did that come about. Who exactly elected the US as a global leader.

How many nations agreed to cast the first stone.

People go to prison for taking the law into their own hands.

Pandora's box has been opened and the whole world will suffer from US arrogance.

Putin's invasion of Ukraine was widely condemned as a breach of the rules-based order.

By attacking Iran, America abandoned any claim to the moral high ground.

It can hardly complain if China tries to invade Taiwan.

But again there are legitimate reasons for attacking. besides people thinking it's all about oil. Most anyone knows what Iran's been doing these last few decades, and something had to be done. terrorism doesn't have borders and if they are allowed to attack anyone, they'll soon enough find reasons to attack all. More countries will join this, and are, as Iran is not only attacking them, but others see what's being done is hopefully bringing an end to Iran's terrorist mindset.

That is only one part of their behavior, and it's a false one. Narcissists both love and hate themselves, but the hate gets worse as they age, and their behavior worsens also. It's not a normal self love but a thinking they are somehow superior, at least in their minds, and they will use and attack others until they are found out, when they will search out others.

The best thing that's happened is many psychologists, psychiatrists and counselors writing books and doing podcasts on the subject, and they aren't getting away with their behavior as long as before.

They are trained from birth, so they will still be made every day, as it's their parents fault for abusing, neglecting or spoiling them , making them what they become as adults. They'll use that deflection and gaslighting everyone, and some will fall for it, as least for awhile, until they are called out on their behavior.

They ruin all relationships , and the only reasons anyone stays with them are fear or possible financial loss, or children involved.

AFAICT Iran's terrorism support is confined to the Middle East, principally directed at Israel. And if it were not for CIA and MI6 conspiracies back in 1953, Iran could well be a relatively peaceful secular society. The West should have been more careful what it wished for.

Iran can be again a peaceful society, when they get rid of that thinking and the leaders who are brainwashing them.

A pure narcissist only loves himself. It takes sociopathy to make a narcissist dangerous to other people.

The two neurodivergences can be separate, although admittedly it is more common for them to be deeply commingled.

There lies the rub. Outside force can't do it, and the regime is so brutal internal forces are very unlikely to succeed.

A lot of the nations that America lost wars to had very little in the way of sophistication.

The Vietnamese beat America through grit and persistence and about 200 planes. Brilliant strategy helped.

The Taliban had zero planes. When you hear people talk about air superiority, it makes you wonder how American air superiority lost to a bunch of "ragheads".

While disparaging the Iranians, remember those who beat the western elite and how.

They weren't losses as far as military. Not reaching all objectives yes. If they continued, those other sides would have lost so many more people, and civilians as collateral damage. Don't kid yourself thinking the US military couldn't do a lot more damage if they wanted to.Especially now.

It takes the covert to hurt others, as they're good at love bombing others, making them think they're special and the only one, while they'll cheat every chance they get, and take all they can from everyone until they're figured out. A malignant like Trump and most other world leaders is easy to spot, but being in power they're hard to remove.

That's a fairly accurate description of someone I've seen posting here. You seem to be quite knowledgeable about it...almost inside it.

Well by that reasoning and if terrorism is the excuse, then I expect Trump to be bombing the hell out of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, both major financial backers of ISIS.

In terms of age, the A10 is closer to a Spitfire (24 years from the end of Spitfire production to start of A10) than to today, 42 years since the end of A10 production
