What is it With Netflix?

I was going to watch two new very popular Netflix TV shows. I forget the name of them. Both of them were wide screen, just like watching through a letterbox. There was no way I was going to watch anything with about 30% of my screen blank.

I can understand this years ago, but not now in this day and age, so I say again, what is it with netflix?

I don't doubt that the proportions have changed since 2022, but it is extremely unlikely that they have changed so much that Muslims are now the largest single religious group in London: If that were the case, I've absolutely no doubt that Rupert Lowe (among others) would have mentioned it. Not talking about the obvious stuff that brings most of us here initially. I mean the longer term decision to actually settle down with a Thai woman specifically. Looking back I think the relationship dynamic played a bigger part in my choice than I ever admitted at the time. The roles are just... clear. He provides, she takes care of the home and family.
