Any idea if they will accept rental income with a supporting letter from my estate agent or does the income have to be related to retirement?

The obvious answer to that is to go to Khorat Immigration and ask them what they will or will not accept.

Mate, you’re missing at least three things: •   Blood sample (certified, translated, and signed in blue ink only) •   A hand-drawn map of your house from memory •   And your bank manager’s first-born

Ignore that post. Retirement extension is very simple process and io can advise anything you're missing. You don't need an agent as you have covered the financial requirements. For CW you would be att

I had same time. As stated I did update at 8.30. Drove to CW. Go to first office desk on right after entry and ask for "Retirement Extension" She will give you TM7 + some overstay acknowledgement for

You do not necessarily need a TM30 or a proof of address in the form of signed tabien baan or owners ID card. Owners sometimes don't play along.

A copy of you rental agreement (also bring the original to show if asked) and copies of proof of rental payment for the last 3 months, is all you need at CW.

Been doing this for 10 years now.

Been doing this for 10 years now.

Not my experience regards proof of rental payments. Lease sufficient.

In fact first time I have ever read that re CW in over 15 years.

Suggest anyone doing annual extension do a new TM30 prior to application.

I show proof of rental payment for ten years now. But maybe it's not necessary? Will try without next time.

I never show TM30, tabien baan or owners ID though.

I'm guilty of the same. We provide some docs like you outline and because io accept them we assume they are required docs.

I tend to take overkill approach.

Some call it "pack the kitchen sink"

I thought I'd update the post for anyone interested.

I went to immigration today and got my visa within 30 minutes of my appointment. All of my documents were correct and nothing was missing. The IO was efficient and respectful.

I arrived very early so scouted out where I needed to go beforehand, and had some chicken and rice, and a coffee downstairs.

Next year I'll try to arrive a bit closer my appointment time...

Thank you all for the advice. It really was perfect.

Good news.

Just to be clear. You obtained a 12 month extension to your existing temporary permission of stay.

Your single entry Non O is long gone..

@eid_ don't forget to obtain reentry permit if you need to take trip abroad.

Can be obtained at your immigration office or airport on day of departure.

I did have that form filled but I just wanted to go home after my appointment. Plus, floor 3 looked really busy.

I'll just get them at the airport.

Zone 2 . Left side of passport control lines. Obtain reentry permit prior to being stamped out immigration.

Unlike DMK where the office is just past passport control.

Be aware there is Optional service charge of 200b where all you do is hand over pp.

Don't provide tm8, photo etc

Thanks for all the help.

So you go up the elevator to security screening then back down for immigration (passport control)

The reentry permit desk is to left of all the imm lines.

Single reentry 1000b multi 3800b

Plus 200b service fee if you have them do all. Photo etc.

Have cash with you

Can I get a re-entry permit at other points of exit? i.e. airports, road borders, ports?

Also, can I get one at other immigration offices around the country, or just the one where I acquired my extension stamp?

You obtain the reentry permit at immigration office where you obtained your extension.

For land borders that can be more problematic.

The actual land border crossing may not do the reentry permit and send you to immigration office.

Suggest don't make simple difficult.

Obtain it at your immigration office or at international airport on day of departure

International airports yes, generally no at land border crossings and ports.

Theoretically you can apply for a re-entry permit at any IO, but if applying where your not registered as living, they could insist on a TM30 being filed.
