Censorship of the US President's words??

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

Do members find it a sign of a mature political discussion platform, when the sitting US President's own legal words and writings are censored(as an eg. His Bruce Springsteen tweet yesterday) so as not to offend people of the left?

I find this very concerning, and struggle to understand how this can happen in 2026.

Presumably posters of the left applaud censorship of the US President, while simultaneously claiming to be proud of the "free speech" we enjoy - like sir Kier recently lied about?

What's bizarre is that there is a demented pedo rapist in the WH. THAT is what is bizarre.

You've started a thread with a rant with no context, no links to anything, no information about what was censored. I genuinely have no idea what you are talking about. If you want people to join in

I'm guessing it was the "landslide" and "honest" that could cause it to be taken down.

This is verbatim what was said. I guess the OP is observing that 3 words of the President would generally be against forum posting rules:

I am merely observing the sitting Presidents own legal words are literally censored on what is supposed to be an adults political discussion forum. I am also observing not a single representative of the left has an issue with such a bizarre situation.

"who looks like a dried up prune"

Trump should invite him (Springsteen) to dinner. A prune and an orange together.

As has been posted by people on both sides of the political spectrum. Freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences of said speech.

What was the potty mouth's latest obscenity?

I feel sorry for American parents who have to protect their children from the sickening influence of the worst human being American culture has ever produced -- Donald Trump

Rosie O'Donnell (who criminal Trump is trying to illegally strip of her U.S. citizenship) coined a great new nickname for it.

It is a point of principle. You, like those above, clearly DO think censoring a sitting US President and leader of the free world's perfectly legal speech is appropriate in political discussion forums. Interesting yet not surprising.

It's probably time to stop pretending we are participating in political discussion. We are bit players in a lefty propaganda machine where a Presidents words must be censored to stop snowflakes getting triggered aka pathetic. Now, the inflated ego or self importance required to make such incrediblyindefensible decisions is something I can't understand.

That's because literally no one has any idea what you are on about.

What did he say? Who censored it? Who asked "the left" to comment? What are you on about?

He is NO longer the leader of the free world now that the rest of the world have been totally alienated by his insults and actions!!

The USA under Trump is an outcast on the world stage and being laughed it while it pontificates and prances around on it!

Nor should anyone that disagrees either with the abusive use of the presidents position or his moronic verbal assaults against everyone with opposite views or in a position to disregard his ignorance.

Trump in the 'Truth Social' I posted said the same 3 words about the deceased Rob Reiner that he says about Springsteen. Springsteen can answer back. Reiner can not.
